VASAGLE SIREN LBC401W01 6-Tier Bookcase with Cabinet, Cloud White
Product description
Usage tips
The combination of open shelving and a closed cabinet gives this tall bookcase two useful roles: keep books and display pieces within reach, while putting less decorative items behind the door. Its Cloud White finish and recessed-panel detailing bring a simple farmhouse touch to a living room or home office without making the storage the main feature of the room. It is also listed for dining-room use.
The first, fourth and fifth shelves can each be moved up or down by up to 3 cm. That gives some flexibility for taller books or art pieces, though it is a modest adjustment rather than a fully custom shelving system. The stated maximum static load is 10 kg per shelf, so distribute items with that limit in mind. The included anti-tip kit is intended for wall attachment, follow the instructions and secure the unit before loading it.

The product is described as a six-tier unit with five open shelves and a closed cabinet. The manufacturer also notes that storage boxes are not included. Its tall, narrow format is aimed at using vertical space, it is a different approach from choosing a wider, lower unit with more surface area. Assembly is required, and the provided instructions and labelled parts are intended to guide the process.
Why it makes sense
This layout suits someone who wants everyday items visible but would rather keep smaller or less tidy belongings out of sight. For example, books and a few decorative pieces can sit on the open shelves, with other household items stored behind the door. Compared with an entirely open bookcase, the cabinet adds a discreet place to put things away, compared with a closed cupboard, the shelves keep frequently used items easy to access.
Customer feedback highlights straightforward assembly and clear instructions, along with positive comments about sturdiness and how much the unit holds for its size. Those are useful impressions to weigh up, but they do not replace the stated load limits or the need to use the anti-tip kit. The listed materials are particleboard and MDF, rather than solid wood, which is worth considering if material choice is a priority.
It’s a good fit if you want a tall storage piece with both display space and a door-fronted section, and the shelf load limits suit what you plan to store. You may want to skip it if you need shelving designed for heavier individual items, as each shelf has a stated 10 kg maximum.
Practical questions
Can the shelf heights be changed? The first, fourth and fifth shelves can be adjusted by up to 3 cm, which helps accommodate items of different heights.
Does it need to be fixed to the wall? The manufacturer advises attaching it with the included anti-tip kit for safety. It is listed as freestanding with wall mounting, so allow for that securing step when planning its position.
Are storage boxes included? No. The stated contents are the bookcase, an accessory kit, an anti-tip kit and instructions, storage boxes are not included.
Should you buy it?
Choose the VASAGLE SIREN LBC401W01 if you want open display shelves alongside a cabinet, with some scope to adjust shelf spacing and a stated 10 kg limit per shelf. It makes more sense for books, ornaments and general household storage than for a setup that depends on heavy loads. The customer feedback on assembly and capacity is encouraging, while the practical decision still comes down to the material, wall-fixing requirement and load limits.
