SONGMICS LSA114BH01 4-Tier Shoe Rack, Stackable Steel Frame, Black
Product description
At 30 x 45 x 66 cm, the SONGMICS LSA114BH01 is a four-tier shoe rack made from steel tubes and polypropylene connectors. Its narrow format is intended for indoor storage.
The open shelves keep everyday footwear visible and easy to reach, whether they are placed in a hallway, wardrobe or living room.
The layout can be changed: stack two racks to use vertical space, or remove a tier to make room for taller boots. Each tier has a maximum load of 10 kg.
Worth noting
This is a straightforward open rack rather than a closed shoe cabinet. That makes it useful when you want to see and grab shoes quickly, but it will not conceal them from view. The steel tubes connect with plastic joints, and assembly is required, the supplied instructions and tool-free design are intended to make setup manageable. A tilt protection part is also included.
The stated load limit is 10 kg per tier, so it is suited to footwear and lighter stored items rather than heavy boxes. The product notes also say not to use the rack outdoors. Buyers mention ease of assembly and everyday functionality, with some also praising its perceived quality and value. These are impressions, not a substitute for the stated load limit or indoor-use guidance.
Quick sizing guide
The product is listed as 30 x 45 x 66 cm, with a separate specification field giving the width and height in a different order. If you are planning a close fit beside a door, inside a wardrobe or in a narrow hallway, allow for that discrepancy and check the intended orientation against the product details before choosing a space. The four tiers provide separate places for trainers, slippers and other footwear, while the removable shelf gives more clearance for boots.
Worth considering if you want visible, flexible shoe storage and can make use of vertical space. Better avoided if you need an outdoor rack or a closed cabinet that keeps footwear out of sight.
Tips for day-to-day use
Keep the rack on a level indoor floor and make sure it is assembled securely before loading it. Spread footwear across the shelves rather than exceeding the 10 kg limit on any one tier. For a changing mix of shoes, removing one shelf can create space for taller pairs, stacking two units is another way to build upwards, provided the arrangement is stable.
In a typical hallway, the open design makes it easy to return everyday shoes to the same place. Compared with a basic single-level shoe stand, this model offers several tiers in a compact footprint, a closed or more substantial storage unit may suit a household that prioritises concealed storage or needs to store heavier items.
Questions before you buy
Does it need assembly? Yes. Assembly is required, and instructions are included. The rack is designed to connect without screws or additional tools.
Can it hold boots? Yes. One shelf can be removed to create extra height for taller footwear.
Can it be used outdoors? No. The product guidance says not to use the rack outdoors.
Final verdict
The SONGMICS LSA114BH01 makes sense for indoor shoe organisation where several open tiers and adaptable shelf spacing are more useful than a closed finish. Its clearest constraints are the 10 kg limit per tier and the instruction to keep it indoors. If those suit your storage needs, the stackable format and removable shelf offer practical ways to arrange different types of footwear.
