SONGMICS DEKY LSA032B01 Two-Tier Shoe Rack, Stackable, 116 cm Wide, Black

A hallway rack needs to hold everyday footwear without taking over the floor, a larger storage unit may suit a different space. The SONGMICS DEKY LSA032B01 is a two-tier, stand-alone organiser measuring 116 x 30 x 34 cm. Its layout can be used in different orientations or stacked to make use of vertical space. It is intended for indoor use, not outdoors.

The essentials

The rack combines metal tubes with plastic connectors, with two tiers and a minimalist black finish. Used upside down, it is stated to hold up to 15 pairs of men’s shoes or 18 pairs of women’s shoes. The spacing between levels is also designed to accommodate ankle boots, so it can handle more than just low-profile footwear. Those capacity figures are useful when judging whether it could clear shoes from an entryway or wardrobe, but the actual fit will depend on the footwear and how it is arranged.

Assembly is described as tool-free, with an illustrated guide and video provided. The stand-alone format means it does not need to be mounted to a wall. Buyers’ comments also highlight straightforward assembly and useful capacity, while opinions on sturdiness are mixed: some find it stable, whereas others describe it as fragile. That difference is worth bearing in mind if you expect to move or rearrange the organiser often.

Practical tips

Choose the orientation to suit the space and the footwear you want to store: the rack can stand upright, be flipped to create extra storage space underneath, or be stacked to use height rather than more floor area. It is listed for use in places such as an entryway, wardrobe, living room or garage, but the manufacturer advises against outdoor use. Keep that distinction in mind if you are looking for storage for a porch or other exposed area.

The supplied pack includes one two-tier rack and a user manual, the manual’s language is not guaranteed to be English. No care instructions are specified, so the most useful practical point is to keep the rack indoors and set it up according to the assembly guide.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you want a relatively narrow shoe organiser for a household entryway, wardrobe or living room, and would rather use two tiers than leave shoes spread across the floor. The option to stack or change its orientation may help when the available floor space is limited but there is room to organise vertically. It may also appeal if you need space for ankle boots alongside everyday shoes.

This is a more flexible approach than choosing a fixed, single-level shelf, particularly if you want to adapt the arrangement to the room. However, buyers do not agree on how sturdy it feels, so anyone prioritising a particularly robust-feeling unit may prefer to compare other storage styles before deciding.

When it makes sense

The LSA032B01 makes sense when a two-tier rack with a stated capacity of up to 15 men’s or 18 women’s pairs matches the amount of footwear you need to organise. It gives you options for using floor space or height, without wall mounting or tools for assembly. You may want to skip it if the rack needs to sit outdoors, or if consistent buyer feedback on sturdiness is an important part of your decision, the available comments on that point are divided.
