VASAGLE CUSTOS Collection LBC10WT 10-Cube Bookcase, Cloud White

For books, toys and ornaments that need a place without being hidden away, the VASAGLE LBC10WT offers ten open compartments in a single unit. Its square layout can also help organise a compact room or create a visual divide in a hallway. Choose open cubes when easy access and display matter, closed storage is a better fit when you want belongings out of sight.

Worth noting

The CUSTOS Collection bookcase is made from engineered wood, with a laminated finish in Cloud White and a modern, rectangular shape. Each of its ten compartments has a stated maximum static load of 10kg, so it can hold everyday items such as books and ornaments within that limit. The manufacturer also says storage boxes can be used in the cubes to conceal clutter and keep dust off stored items, the open design itself keeps contents visible and within reach.

This is a wall-mounted or free-standing style of unit, but the supplied anti-tip kit is intended to secure it to the wall. The manufacturer advises attaching it before use for safety. That fitting requirement is worth factoring into placement, particularly if you are planning a freestanding room divider rather than putting the bookcase against a wall.

Fit and sizing

The listed dimensions are 29D x 129.5W x 129.5H centimetres. Each compartment measures 29 x 30.5 x 30.5 cm, giving you a clear guide when deciding what will fit inside. Measure the intended spot and check the height and depth as well as the width, a broad, open unit can take up visual space even when its footprint suits a narrow area.

Buyers mention that the bookcase looks appealing and is straightforward to assemble, with several also appreciating how it fits into their space. Some describe using it for toys or under-stairs storage. These are individual impressions rather than a guarantee that it will suit every room, so the stated measurements and wall-fixing requirement are the more useful checks before choosing a location.

Best use cases

The open layout makes sense in a living room or study where books, photos and decorations are meant to be seen, and in a bedroom for folded clothes or organised belongings. It could also work in an entryway as a light visual divider, provided the wall fixing can be used. For a practical everyday setup, keep frequently reached items in the lower cubes and reserve the remaining spaces for display or occasional storage.

Compared with a cabinet, this format offers quicker access and makes it easier to see what is stored, while boxes can make individual cubes look tidier. It is less suited to anyone who wants all contents concealed without adding boxes. A solid pick if you want a single open unit for mixed display and storage, not the best choice if you cannot secure it to a wall as advised.

Is it worth it?

The case for this bookcase is its combination of ten separate spaces, a simple white finish and room for both display and practical storage. Buyers also speak positively about the appearance and assembly, though those impressions will depend on the space and the items you plan to store. The 10kg limit per compartment gives a clear boundary for heavier belongings, and wall attachment is part of the safe-use guidance. Choose it when visible, divided storage suits your room, look at enclosed furniture instead if keeping contents hidden is the priority.
