Relaxdays Bamboo Clothes Rack, foldable rail with shelf and 4 hooks, brown

The hanging rail, shelf and four hooks bring everyday clothes and accessories together in one freestanding unit, making it easier to keep a hallway or bedroom orderly. Made from bamboo in brown, the rack has an open design and folds flat when it is not needed.

At 160 x 74 x 42 cm, it offers a useful alternative to adding another wall-mounted rail or a full wardrobe.

What to know

The main rail is intended for hangers and can hold shirts, blouses, dresses and jackets. Below it, the shelf provides a place for shoes or bags, while the four hooks give scarves, jackets and other accessories a separate spot. That combination is practical by an entrance, where coats can be hung up and shoes left close at hand, or in a bedroom for laying out clothes and keeping accessories together.

The rack is freestanding, so it does not require wall mounting and can be placed where it suits the room. Its stated maximum total load is approximately 22 kg, this applies to the rack as a whole, rather than being a separate allowance for each rail, shelf or hook. The product weighs approximately 2.8 kg and is supplied in parts with assembly materials and illustrated instructions.

Best use cases

This is most useful when you want accessible, open storage for a modest set of clothes and accessories rather than a closed wardrobe. The shelf measures approximately 54 x 37 cm, giving it room for shoes or a bag, while the hanging rail is approximately 54 cm wide. For instance, in a guest room, it could hold a few hangers and provide a shelf for a visitor’s shoes, without taking the place of a larger clothes cupboard.

Could a set of wall hooks do the same job? Hooks take up less floor space, but they do not provide this rack’s hanging rail and shelf together. You’ll like it if you want those functions in one movable piece and value being able to fold it away. Better avoided if your priority is concealed storage: the open frame leaves clothes and belongings on display.

Getting the most from it

Place it where the full frame can stand freely, then use the rail for garments on hangers, the shelf for shoes or bags, and the hooks for smaller accessories. Keeping the different items in their designated places makes the most of the rack’s compact footprint without turning the shelf into a second hanging area. Because the design is freestanding, it can also be repositioned rather than fixed to a particular wall.

When folded, it measures approximately 160 x 74 x 6 cm, so it can be stored in a narrow gap when not in use. Its height and width remain the same when folded, the reduced depth is the key space-saving detail. The 22 kg maximum load is worth bearing in mind when deciding how much to keep on the rack.

Final verdict

The Relaxdays rack is a practical choice for an entryway, bedroom or guest room that needs a rail, a shoe or bag shelf and extra hooks in one open unit. Its fold-flat design adds flexibility for occasional use or storage between uses. Choose a conventional enclosed wardrobe instead if keeping clothes out of sight is more important than quick access and a compact, movable layout.
