GLORIOUS Mako GLO-KB-ACC-SWT-MAKO-LUBED-110 Tactile Keyboard Switches, 5-Pin

If you want a clear tactile signal with each keypress, these switches offer a subtle bump without making the press feel heavy or slow. If your priority is letting keyboard lighting show through, their clear design helps RGB backlighting shine through with brightness and colour intact.

The GLORIOUS Mako switches are pre-lubed for a smooth-feeling press, making them a practical choice for a keyboard used for both gaming and typing. They are designed for 5-pin hot-swap sockets, so they suit a switch change or a custom keyboard build when the socket is compatible.

Product specs

The Mako’s gentle tactile bump gives a noticeable signal during a press while keeping the feel responsive for repeated keystrokes. That makes it a useful middle ground for someone who wants more feedback than a switch with no tactile bump, without choosing a stronger tactile feel. The pre-lubed POM stem is intended to reduce friction, adding a smoother feel for longer typing sessions as well as quick gaming inputs.

Everyday use

For a mixed-use setup, the tactile feedback can help make each keypress feel distinct while you move between typing, shortcuts and gameplay. The clear switch housing also suits a backlit keyboard: light can pass through the switch, helping the keyboard’s RGB lighting remain visible rather than being obscured by an opaque design.

A box contains enough switches to fill 60%, 75%, TKL and full-size mechanical keyboards, according to the product details. This is useful when replacing a full set or building a keyboard with a consistent switch feel across the board. It also offers a different approach from buying individual replacements: one pack provides the switches for a complete compatible layout.

Included in the pack

The pack contains 110 Mako switches. They are intended for 5-pin hot-swap keyboard sockets, check that your keyboard uses this socket type before fitting them. The product details list compatibility with all Glorious GMMK keyboards and most mechanical keyboards with 5-pin hot-swap sockets.

Is it worth it?

It suits you if you want a tactile switch for both gaming and everyday typing, and value a subtle press signal, a smooth-feeling lubricated stem and a clear design for RGB lighting. With 110 switches in the box, it can cover a range of common keyboard sizes, from 60% layouts through to full-size boards. Choose the Mako for a compatible hot-swap keyboard when you want tactile feedback without giving up a responsive keypress.
