soundcore by Anker V30i Open-Ear Headphones, Bluetooth 5.3, 36-Hour Playtime
Product description
For a walk, commute or workout where you want to listen while staying aware of what’s around you, the soundcore by Anker V30i uses an open-ear design rather than sitting inside the ear canal. Its ergonomic hooks keep the headphones in place while leaving your surroundings easier to hear.
Soft, flexible ear hooks and a lightweight build are designed for comfortable wear over longer listening sessions. The 14.2 mm bio-material diaphragm brings robust bass to music, podcasts and other audio.
Want to adjust your listening setup without changing headphones? Use the soundcore app to choose an EQ preset, create a custom sound profile and personalize touch controls.
How to use it
Pair the V30i with a Bluetooth device for open-ear listening at home, at work or while out and about. The hook-style fit suits activities where a secure, non-intrusive design is useful, while the open construction helps you remain aware of nearby sounds such as transit announcements and traffic. For outdoor use, this makes it possible to keep audio on while still hearing more of the environment around you.
Use the soundcore app to select an EQ preset or shape your own, then set touch controls for options such as volume adjustment and voice assistant access. The charging case extends total playtime to 36 hours, and a 10-minute charge provides 3 hours of listening—handy when you need to top up before heading out. IPX5 water resistance and SweatGuard protection support use during sweaty activities.

Strengths
The open-ear format is the key difference from conventional in-ear headphones: it keeps the listening experience less isolating, which is useful when you want music or a podcast alongside awareness of your surroundings. That can suit a walk through busy areas, a workday with people nearby or leisure time at home. The flexible hooks add a practical fit for movement, while the 14.2 mm diaphragm gives bass a clear place in the sound profile.
Personalization adds another everyday benefit. Rather than relying on one fixed tuning or control layout, you can choose an EQ preset, create your own and tailor touch functions through the app. The charging case also makes the V30i easier to work into a day of listening, with extended total playtime and a quick-charge option when time is short.
Buying verdict
It makes sense if you’re looking for headphones that keep audio accessible without fully covering the ears. The V30i brings together an open fit, flexible ergonomic hooks, app-based sound controls and IPX5 water resistance for commuting, outdoor leisure, office use and workouts. Choose this style when hearing more of your surroundings is part of the listening experience, rather than prioritizing an in-ear design that sits inside the ear canal.
