Compatibility

The P31i connects wirelessly over Bluetooth 6.1, making it suitable for listening and calls with Bluetooth-enabled devices. The charging case uses a USB Type-C interface. For travel, adaptive ANC adjusts noise cancellation to your surroundings, and spatial audio offers another way to enjoy supported listening content. The earbuds also feature real-time AI translation for more than 100 languages, useful for conversations across language barriers.

How to use it

Pair the earbuds with a Bluetooth-enabled device, then use the touch controls for everyday listening. Choose ANC when you want adaptive noise reduction, or listen with ANC off for the stated longer battery life. The case extends listening time between charges, and a 10-minute charge provides up to 3.5 hours of listening. For calls, the six-microphone system works with AI noise reduction and wind-noise reduction to help separate your voice from background sound, including outdoors.

The translation features include face-to-face and real-time translation. Both are free at present, although the real-time translation feature may require a subscription in the future. That makes the earbuds useful for travel and multilingual conversations, alongside their regular role for music and calls.

Buyers often praise the sound, noise cancellation, battery life and comfort. Experiences with fit, reliability and Bluetooth connectivity are mixed, so a secure, comfortable fit matters for extended listening. Compared with basic wireless earbuds focused mainly on playback, the P31i brings ANC, translation and call-focused microphones together in one set.

Before you decide

How long can I listen before recharging? With ANC off, the earbuds provide up to 10 hours per charge, with up to 50 hours total using the case. With ANC on, the figures are up to 8 hours per charge and 40 hours with the case.

Can I use the earbuds for calls outdoors? Yes. Six microphones, AI noise reduction and a wind-noise reduction algorithm are designed to help keep your voice clear during calls, including outdoors.

Does real-time translation have a subscription? Face-to-face and real-time translation are currently free. A subscription may be required for real-time translation in the future.

Should you buy it?

The Soundcore P31i suits listeners who want one in-ear set for travel, music and calls, with adaptive ANC for surrounding noise and a case that extends listening time. Its added translation features and six-microphone call system make it especially practical when your day includes conversations as well as listening.
