Choose from Sleep Stories, AI Brainwave Audio and white noise to create a more settled listening routine for bedtime or a nap.

Where it shines

The triple noise-reduction system brings together ANC, passive isolation and adaptive snore-masking technology. It is designed to reduce a range of nighttime sounds, including snoring, appliance hum, pet movement and traffic. The masking feature can reduce the impact of snoring, rather than eliminate it, and uses the charging case microphone to adapt its audio.

Bluetooth playback connects to mobile phones and tablets, while the sound library gives you options beyond your own playlists. Sleep monitoring tracks duration, position and snoring, with daily insights presented in a report that can help you assess your habits. Buyers praise the sound, particularly in Bluetooth mode, and many appreciate the battery performance, feedback on fit, ANC, reliability and connectivity is mixed. The ergonomic shape and light silicone build make these a dedicated sleep-focused alternative to earbuds mainly designed for daytime listening.

Key features

The Special version offers Lunar White and delivers 10 hours of playback by default, with up to 50 hours using the charging case. Playback options range from 7 to 16 hours, depending on the selected mode, continuous Bluetooth streaming with ANC shortens battery life. This gives you a choice between streaming and a longer overnight listening session using the available local mode.

Touch controls provide direct adjustments: double-tap the left earbud to switch between Bluetooth and local modes, or the right to toggle ANC. Triple-tap the left to lower volume and the right to raise it. Controls can be customized or disabled in the app. For adaptive snore masking, place the case within 1 m of the bed with its microphone facing the bed, then enable Dynamic Snore Masking in the app.

How to look after it

Keep the ear tips, mesh filter, microphone opening and charging contacts clean to support everyday use and charging. The manufacturer recommends cleaning these areas, along with the case’s charging pins, using a cotton swab dampened with rubbing alcohol. Let the cleaned parts dry before placing the earbuds in the case. This simple routine is especially useful for earbuds worn overnight and handled as part of a regular sleep routine.

What to clarify

How long can I listen on a charge? The stated default playback time is 10 hours, with flexible options from 7 to 16 hours and up to 50 hours with the charging case. Continuous Bluetooth streaming and ANC reduce battery life, so actual use depends on the selected mode.

How does adaptive snore masking work? Set the case within 1 m of the bed, point its microphone towards the bed and enable Dynamic Snore Masking in the app. The masking audio adjusts to help reduce the impact of snoring.

Can I change the touch controls? Yes. The app lets you customize or disable taps. By default, double-taps switch modes or toggle ANC, while triple-taps adjust volume.

Buying verdict

For adults who want sleep-specific audio rather than a general listening pair, the Sleep A30 Special combines a side-sleeper-oriented silicone design with several sound options, three noise-reduction approaches and sleep insights. Its local playback option, adjustable controls and dedicated snore-masking setup make it suited to building a personalized bedtime routine at home or settling in for a nap.
