Silent Witness S6 DVD-Video Drama, English, 2 Discs
Product description
Presented in DVD-Video format, Silent Witness S6 brings Sam’s forensic work to a two-disc drama collection with a total runtime of 6 hours and 40 minutes. The English-language release follows Sam as an established University of London professor and independent pathologist, taking on high-profile prosecution and defence cases.
The stories range from revenge killings connected to a former Auschwitz prisoner to the mysterious deaths of teenage girls in Norway, separated by 15 years. A suspicious suicide and a nun at a seaside convent bring further cases for Sam to investigate. This varied casework gives the collection several distinct mysteries to follow across an extended home-viewing session.

How to use it
Play the DVD-Video discs on a compatible DVD player. The English-language presentation suits viewers who want to follow the dialogue in its original listed language. For a relaxed evening, watch over several sessions, the 6 hours and 40 minutes of total runtime also gives viewers room to spend more time with Sam’s cases in one extended viewing period. Keep the discs together so the collection is easy to return to between sessions.
Who it’s for
This collection is suited to viewers who enjoy crime dramas built around forensic investigation and a central pathologist’s professional cases. Sam’s role as both a university professor and an independent expert gives the stories a focus on her work across prosecution and defence matters. The changing case premises—from a revenge plot to deaths investigated across years and a suspicious suicide—offer variety for viewers who prefer a collection of different investigations over a story centred on just one case. Its Canadian home video rating is ages 14 and over.
