Us – 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray (Bilingual), Dolby Vision and HDR10
Product description
For a movie night built around tense, thought-provoking horror, Us brings Jordan Peele’s story of a family facing uncanny versions of themselves to a 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray release. The unsettling premise keeps the focus on the Wilson family as a holiday turns into a fight for survival.
Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke lead the cast, with Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker also featured. The film runs for 1 hour and 57 minutes, making it a full-length thriller for an evening screening.
The release includes Dolby Vision and HDR10, plus a Blu-ray format. English, French and Spanish subtitles offer viewing choices, while English Dolby Atmos and Spanish Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 audio are listed for the release.
Key features
Us builds its suspense around doppelgängers: Adelaide Wilson’s growing fear becomes real when her family encounters frightening counterparts. That premise gives the film a distinctive mix of family conflict, mystery and horror, with Jordan Peele’s direction connecting eerie coincidences to the threat at the heart of the story.
The 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray format brings together both listed disc formats in one release. Dolby Vision and HDR10 are included among the video features, while the listed English Dolby Atmos and Spanish Dolby Digital Plus 7.1 audio provide options for watching in either language. English, French and Spanish subtitles add further flexibility for a shared movie night.
Bonus material explores the film beyond its central story. It includes The Monsters Within Us, Tethered Together: Making Us Twice, Redefining a Genre: Jordan Peele’s Brand of Horror, The Duality of Us, Becoming Red, scene explorations and deleted scenes. These extras offer a closer look at the characters, the film’s themes and the creative work behind its unsettling world.
Everyday use
This edition suits a planned home screening when you want a feature-length horror film with a strong mystery element rather than a collection of short clips. Its 1-hour-and-57-minute runtime gives the story room to develop, and the bilingual presentation makes it easier to choose between the listed audio and subtitle options for different viewers. For the 4K Ultra HD presentation, use a compatible 4K Ultra HD player and display, the Blu-ray format is also part of the release.
The bonus features make the set a natural choice for viewers who like to stay with a film after the credits. You can watch the story first, then explore deleted scenes and featurettes such as As Above, So Below: Grand Pas de Deux and We’re All Dying. It’s a more layered movie-night pick than a standard film-only release, especially for fans interested in how the story and its characters were developed.
Who it’s for
Us is suited to horror and thriller fans who enjoy tense family stories, unsettling doubles and mysteries that invite discussion after viewing. The cast includes Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss and Tim Heidecker, while Jordan Peele’s name and the film’s original nightmare premise will appeal to viewers looking for a distinctively psychological edge. Its Canadian home video rating is Ages 14 and over.
It’s a good fit if you want a physical movie release that combines 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray, offers English, French and Spanish subtitles, and includes substantial behind-the-scenes material. Viewers choosing a simple film-only edition may prefer that approach, this release makes more sense when the bonus content and format options are part of the appeal.
