Ziluce XXL Wooden Dog Stairs, Foldable 2-in-1 Ottoman with Non-Slip Surface

Practical tips

For pets that need an easier way to reach a bed or couch, these stairs offer a step-by-step route up to furniture. The six-tier design can help reduce strain on a dog’s legs compared with jumping. Set the stairs beside the furniture your pet uses, and attach the legs during assembly. When the steps are not needed, fold them into a footstool or bench for another use around the home.

The split-ottoman design gives you two configurations: unfolded steps for pet access, or a folded stool that can serve as a footrest or shoe bench. The product is made for cats and dogs, with small-to-medium breeds specifically recommended. Its fabric walking surface is described as non-slip, some buyers, however, feel it could provide more grip. For a pet’s first trips up or down, supervise and let them get used to the surface at their own pace.

Pros

A key advantage is the combination of stairs and a household stool. A dedicated pet ramp or fixed set of steps has one main purpose, while this split design can also work as a footrest or shoe bench when folded. That flexibility makes it useful in a living room or bedroom where a permanent pet-only fixture may not suit the space.

The steps are intended to help pets reach beds and couches without relying on a jump, which can be useful for older dogs or pets with joint issues. Buyers often highlight the folding design and everyday function, and some appreciate it for senior or arthritic dogs. Opinions on stability are mixed, and feedback about the walking surface’s grip varies, so a pet’s comfort with the texture is worth observing during use. The listed maximum weight recommendation is 180 pounds, providing a clear reference when choosing steps for a pet.

It suits households looking for an alternative to single-purpose pet steps, particularly when helping an older dog or a pet with joint concerns reach a favorite resting spot.
