PetRuna Wide Dog Car Ramp, 63-Inch Aluminum Ramp with Non-Slip Carpet

At 63 inches long and 17 inches wide, the PetRuna Wide Dog Car Ramp gives dogs a broad, carpeted path into a vehicle. Its aluminum construction supports up to 250 pounds, while the textured surface helps provide traction as your dog walks up or down.

The ramp folds into four sections for carrying and storage, making it practical to keep in a vehicle between trips.

Everyday use

Use the ramp to help a dog enter or exit a car, SUV, or truck without needing to jump. The extended length creates a gentler incline than a short step, which can be especially helpful for senior dogs, dogs with mobility concerns, or short-legged breeds. It can also provide a walking route to a high bed or couch when the ramp is positioned securely for that use.

For vehicle use, set the ramp on a stable surface and attach its metal safety tether to the trunk latch. Anti-slip feet help keep the base in place, and the carpeted top provides a textured walking surface. The ramp is designed for dogs up to 250 pounds, so the capacity is a practical point to consider when choosing a way to help your dog reach an elevated space.

What you’ll notice day to day

The carpet surface has a loofah-like texture intended to give paws traction, and its cushioning helps soften the feel of each step. Reinforced stitching and sleeves add support to the walking surface and frame. These details make the ramp a useful alternative to lifting a dog into the car or relying on repeated jumps, while keeping the process familiar: your dog walks up and down rather than being carried.

When the trip is over, the four-fold design closes down for storage in a vehicle or at home. A padded foam handle makes it easier to carry between the car and the place where the ramp is stored. Compared with a fixed step setup, this foldable ramp can be moved between locations and used for different elevated surfaces, including vehicles and high furniture.

Key features

The frame is made from aluminum, and the ramp weighs 13 pounds. Its stated capacity is 250 pounds. The walking surface is gray, non-slip carpet, and the ramp measures 63 inches long by 17 inches wide when extended. When positioning it, place the upper end securely against the vehicle and use the safety tether at the trunk latch. The four-section fold helps reduce the ramp’s footprint for carrying and storage.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you want one portable ramp for regular car trips and access to elevated spots at home. Its 63-inch walking length, wide carpeted surface, aluminum frame, and 250-pound capacity bring the key considerations together for dogs that benefit from walking into a vehicle instead of jumping. The folding design also suits owners who want to keep a ramp close at hand without leaving it set up between uses.
