aodisman Dog Stair Y0003 3-Step Pet Stairs, High-Density Foam, Gray

Everyday use

At 13.6 inches high, these three-step pet stairs give small dogs and cats a stepped route to a couch or bed. The foam steps have a polyester cover, creating a soft surface for paws. A rubber-dot bottom adds friction against the floor. Use them beside a couch up to 15 inches high to help puppies, kittens, and older pets reach a favorite spot.

The stepped design offers an alternative to lifting a pet onto furniture. Set the stairs beside the spot your pet uses, then let the three levels provide an accessible path up and down. They’re designed for small dogs and cats, with a maximum recommended weight of 25 pounds. The stairs arrive compressed for shipping and regain their shape within 24 to 48 hours, depending on temperature.

Strengths

The three-level layout provides distinct steps rather than a single surface to climb, while the 13.6-inch overall height suits the stated use with couches up to 15 inches high. The rubber-dot bottom is designed to increase friction and help keep the stairs in place as a pet steps on them. Its foam filling and soft cover make the steps a comfortable-feeling surface for paws.

The removable cover has a zipper and can be hand-washed or machine-washed. Keep the foam core out of the washer and dryer, cleaning the cover separately helps care for the fabric without washing the foam. The stairs are pre-assembled, with the outer cover to be attached.

Customer feedback often praises the stairs’ softness and usefulness for helping pets reach furniture, including senior dogs. Opinions on fit and height vary, so the listed dimensions and the height of the couch or bed are useful points of reference. Some customers also report that the stairs stay put, while others find they move less easily on carpet.

Practical questions

What size couch are these stairs designed for? The three-step version is listed for couches up to 15 inches high. The stairs themselves measure 13.6 inches tall, so compare the furniture height with that measurement when choosing where to place them.

How should I clean the stairs? Remove the zippered polyester cover for hand-washing or machine-washing. The foam core should not be machine-washed or machine-dried.

Are they suitable for a senior pet? They’re designed for puppies, kittens, and older cats or dogs, and have a maximum recommended weight of 25 pounds. Their steps can provide a route to a couch or chair without requiring the pet to jump directly onto it.

When it makes sense

These stairs make sense for households looking to give a small dog or cat a dedicated way onto furniture, especially when lifting the pet is not the preferred routine. The three-step format, compact listed height, removable cover, and anti-slip bottom are practical features for placing beside a frequently used couch or bed. For a better fit, match the furniture height to the product’s stated dimensions and consider where the stairs will sit, including whether the floor is carpeted.
