Heeyoo 5-Step Foldable Dog Car Stairs with Carpet Treads and Adjustable Angle

Carpeted steps offer dogs a more gradual way into a vehicle than a direct jump. Heeyoo’s five-step stairs fold for storage and adjust to suit different vehicle heights. Choose a gentler incline for a taller SUV or truck, or a steeper setup for a lower entry point.

What you’ll notice day to day

The accordion-style frame opens for use and folds down to 17 x 13 x 5 inches for storage in a trunk, back seat, or closet. Rubber-wrapped handles make it easier to carry while helping protect the vehicle’s paint. No assembly is required, so the stairs can be opened and positioned when your dog needs a way into the cargo area.

Carpeted treads provide a grippy surface under your dog’s paws, and the angle can be adjusted without tools. A stainless steel carabiner clips to the trunk latch to help keep the stairs from shifting during use. The listed weight capacity is up to 250 lbs, making the stairs suitable for the large-breed dogs named in the product recommendations, including Labradors, Great Danes, and Saint Bernards.

Highlights

These stairs are designed mainly for access through a trunk or cargo area. Their adjustable angle gives you a choice between a longer, gentler slope and a steeper set of steps, depending on the vehicle and setup. That makes them a practical alternative to lifting a large dog into a high vehicle, for a lower entry, the more compact, steeper configuration may be the better fit.

Customer feedback often highlights the folding design and sturdy feel. Experiences with fit and step width are mixed, so the entry point matters: for side- or rear-door use, the opening needs to be wider than 17 inches. For example, measure the clearance before choosing a door entry, or use the intended trunk and cargo-area setup.

Care & maintenance

Check the pivot bolts periodically to help keep the folding frame in working order. When setting up, attach the carabiner to the trunk latch and position the steps securely for your dog’s route into the vehicle. After use, fold the stairs and carry them by the wrapped handles for storage.

Before you decide

Do the stairs require assembly? No assembly is required. Open them, set the angle for the vehicle, and secure the carabiner to the trunk latch.

Can they be used at a side door? They are intended primarily for trunk and cargo-area access. Side- or rear-door use requires an opening wider than 17 inches, so measure the available clearance first.

Can the incline be changed? Yes. The accordion frame can be extended for a gentler slope or compressed for a steeper setup, and the angle locks without tools.

Final verdict

For owners who want to give a large dog a carpeted route into an SUV, truck, or cargo area, Heeyoo’s foldable five-step design brings together adjustable access, a latch-connected carabiner, and compact storage. It’s especially useful when replacing a high jump or repeated lifting with a set of steps that can be positioned to match the vehicle.
