YOTON YD075 Portable DVD Player, 7.5-Inch Swivel Screen, 4–6-Hour Battery

For a road trip or flight where kids need a familiar movie without relying on streaming, the YOTON YD075 portable DVD player brings disc playback and a swivel LCD screen along in a compact 9.5-inch body.

Its 7.5-inch screen swivels for flexible viewing, while the built-in battery is rated for 4–6 hours of play. A car charger is included for travel use, and an AC charger supports charging at home.

Choose this player when your plans center on DVDs and CDs you already own. For a larger shared view, connect it to a television or projector using the included 3-in-1 AV cable.

Why it’s worth it

The YD075 is designed around straightforward, portable viewing. Large buttons make basic playback controls accessible to younger users, and the remote adds another way to manage playback from nearby. Auto-resume picks up where viewing stopped, which is useful when a trip includes short breaks or the player is paused between activities.

The screen swivels to suit different viewing positions in a car or bedroom. Built-in speakers provide sound on the go, for quieter listening, use the 3.5mm headphone jack with headphones. The included car charger offers a practical charging option during travel, while the AV cable lets you connect the player to a compatible TV or projector.

Key takeaways

This model plays CD, DVD, CD-R/RW, DVD±R/±RW, VCD and SVCD discs. It also supports AVI, VOB, MP3, WMA, OGG, AAC and JPG formats, along with SD card and USB connections. Blu-ray discs are not supported. The LCD has an 800 × 480 native resolution, and the display measures 7.5 inches.

In the box are the portable DVD player, AC charger, car charger, remote control and 3-in-1 AV cable. The remote’s battery is not included. These connections give families a choice between personal viewing on the built-in screen and playing content through a connected display.

Buyer feedback often highlights portability, picture clarity, simple navigation and battery life as useful for trips. Opinions are more mixed on sound volume and screen size, and some buyers report playback reliability problems. Those perspectives can help set expectations when choosing a compact travel player, while the listed features make its intended use clear: personal DVD viewing away from a TV.

Who it’s for

The YD075 suits families who want a dedicated player for children’s movies during car rides, flights or quiet time at home. You’ll appreciate it if you prefer physical discs and simple controls over a travel setup built around a phone or tablet. Its compact body is made for portable use, and the swivel screen makes it easier to position for viewing in different settings.

It can also serve as a small playback source for a TV or projector when you want to watch supported discs on a larger display. Use the headphone jack when individual listening is more suitable, such as during a flight or while someone nearby is resting.

When it makes sense

Choose this portable DVD player when access to familiar discs matters more than having a large built-in display. It brings disc playback, SD and USB connections, a swivel screen and travel charging options into one device, so a family can move between backseat viewing and a connected screen at home. For road trips, flights and bedrooms, the YOTON YD075 offers a focused way to keep supported movies and media within reach.
