SQQBZZ PD-9806 Portable DVD Player, 9.5-Inch Swivel Screen, 5-Hour Battery

For families who want a portable way to play DVDs on road trips or at home, the SQQBZZ PD-9806 combines a built-in screen with a rechargeable battery and car power option.

Its 9.5-inch LCD screen rotates and flips to help you find a comfortable viewing angle in different settings.

Want to bring more than DVDs along? The player also supports media playback from USB and SD cards, plus CDs and several DVD formats.

What matters most

The PD-9806 plays CD, CD-R/RW, DVD, DVD-R/+R, DVD-RW/+RW, VCD, and SVCD discs, and is region-free. It also supports VOB, AVI, MPEG 1/2/4, and XVID video files, MP3 and WMA audio, and JPEG images through USB or SD card. USB and SD cards can hold up to 32GB. Blu-ray discs, 1080p, and 4K are not supported, so this player is designed for standard DVD and compatible media rather than high-definition disc playback.

For travel, the rechargeable battery provides up to five hours of video playback. The included AC adapter and car adapter give you options to power the player at home or in the vehicle, and it can be used while charging. Stereo dual speakers provide built-in sound, a 3.5mm headphone jack offers a more personal listening option.

Buyer feedback often highlights the picture and portability for car rides and flights. Experiences are mixed regarding battery charge retention, sound in noisy surroundings, remote operation, and durability. The headphone jack and ability to play while charging offer practical alternatives for listening and longer viewing sessions.

Size & fit

The 9.5-inch LCD has an 800 x 480 native resolution. Its screen rotates 270 degrees horizontally and flips 180 degrees, making it easier to position for viewing from different seats or while relaxing at home. The compact, foldable design suits a travel setup where a standalone screen is useful without relying on a TV.

Tips for day-to-day use

For a drive, connect the included car adapter and set the screen angle for the viewer.
