YNSZAS Comic Book Storage Short Box, Collapsible, Holds 100–120 Comics, Black

Comic collectors who need an organized home for bagged or boarded books can use the YNSZAS Comic Book Storage Short Box to keep a collection together and covered. Its structured, fabric-covered design offers an alternative to a plain cardboard storage box. The box holds about 100–120 comics and folds flat when it is not in use.

Quick overview

Cotton linen, Oxford cloth, and PP-board panels give this short box its structured shape, while a sturdy Oxford bottom plate helps it stand upright even when it is not full. That makes it useful for keeping comics grouped on a shelf or in a dedicated collection area, including while a collection is still growing. A flip-top lid covers the contents, and the built-in card slot and included DIY label make it easier to identify what is stored inside.

The package includes one comic storage box, one Oxford PP mat, and one DIY label. Buyers often appreciate the capacity and the more finished look compared with basic cardboard boxes. Feedback on durability is mixed: some say the box holds up well, while others report that the handles can pull or rip, so use the handles with care when moving a loaded box.

Fit and sizing

The box measures 9.8" L x 7.8" W x 11.8" H and is designed to hold approximately 100–120 bagged or boarded comic books. Actual capacity depends on how the books are protected and arranged, so it is helpful to leave enough room to lift them in and out without forcing them together. Its rectangular shape suits shelf storage and keeps a single collection grouped in one container.

The PP-board structure can be folded flat for storage, with a folded height under 1 inch. This is useful when the box is between uses or when several empty storage boxes need to be put away. Set it up again when it is time to organize another section of a collection.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place comics upright and arrange them so the spines or top edges are easy to scan when the lid is open. Use the card slot and DIY label to mark a series, character, or other sorting category, this gives the box a clear purpose without needing to search through its contents. The lid helps keep dust off stored books between browsing sessions, and the Oxford PP mat is part of the included setup.

For a practical collection routine, group books by the category you reach for most often, then keep the box on a shelf or another stable storage surface. The structured base is intended to help the box stay upright even when partly filled. When transporting a full box, support its base as you move it rather than relying only on the handles.
