Set the device where it has clear line of sight to the coverage area and run a Cat5E or better cable to the PoE injector or switch. It supports 802.3af/at active PoE and passive PoE, letting you power it and carry data over a single Ethernet run up to 328 ft, according to the manufacturer. If you need a mesh network with seamless roaming, enable Mesh mode for other compatible WAVLINK units and use the same SSID for simple roaming between nodes.
