Veise Front Door Handle Lock Set, Zinc Alloy

Best use cases

If you want a front-door setup where one key operates both the deadbolt and lever, this Veise set is built around that convenience. It also suits side doors, back doors, and garage entry doors where you want a keyed handle-and-deadbolt combination rather than a handle alone. The reversible lever makes it worth considering for either a left- or right-handed door.

Picture coming home with your hands full: one key works both locks, so you don’t need to keep track of a separate key for each. The set includes three keys.

Product specs

The handle is made from zinc alloy, with stainless steel components, and has a matte black finish. The product is listed as ANSI Grade 3 and IP65 waterproof, with anti-pick, anti-bump, and anti-drill protection. Its finish is described as rust- and corrosion-resistant, and the lock is tested for 250,000+ cycles. These details speak to its intended use on exterior doors, but they don’t replace checking whether the lock fits your particular door and installation needs.

It fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick with a 2-1/8" bore hole. The adjustable backset is 2-3/8" or 2-3/4", and an adjustable latch, strike plate, mounting hardware, lever reversal tool, video, and illustrated instructions are included. Is a reversible handle useful if you’re not sure which way your door is handed? Here, the design is meant to accommodate either side.

The manufacturer describes installation as a screwdriver-only DIY job that takes under 15 minutes. Check that the machine screws are pre-installed in the handle before starting, the fit still depends on matching the listed door measurements. If you can’t confirm your door thickness and bore hole, choosing a set without that measurement could mean an avoidable installation mismatch.

Where it shines

The practical advantage is the keyed-alike arrangement: one key operates the deadbolt and lever, rather than requiring separate keys for the two locks. That can simplify everyday entry without choosing a handle-only replacement. The reversible design and adjustable backset also give it more flexibility than a fixed-handed handle with a single backset.

There are trade-offs. This is a single-cylinder deadbolt set, not a complete door-security upgrade, and the product details don’t specify extra features such as smart access or a separate interior locking method. If your priority is electronic entry or a more specialized security setup, you’ll want to compare those requirements before choosing a conventional keyed set.

The product includes a 1-year limited warranty, with a free 1-year extension after registration. Veise lists US phone support during specified weekday and Saturday hours, plus 24/7 email support.

Should you buy it?

Worth considering if you need a matte black exterior handle and deadbolt that share one key, and your door matches the stated thickness, bore-hole, and backset measurements. The reversible lever and included installation hardware make the set a practical fit for a straightforward replacement where those details line up.

It may not suit you if you need smart-lock features, a different locking arrangement, or can’t verify the door dimensions. The main buying decision is less about the listed protection features than whether this particular lock configuration fits the door and meets the way you want to secure and access it.
