Veise Smart Lock Handle Set, Satin Nickel

Coming home with groceries or arranging access for a house sitter is easier when entry does not depend on handing over a spare key. The Veise VE06-H combines a smart deadbolt and handle set with several ways to unlock the door.

You can use the app, a code, a fob, a mechanical key, or the interior thumb turn. That gives household members and visitors different ways to get in, rather than making everyone rely on a phone.

Need to let a guest in while you’re away? The app supports remote access sharing and user management, including one-time, permanent, scheduled, and recurring codes.

Best use cases

This lock is aimed at homes, apartments, offices, and hotels where access changes from person to person. For example, you could create a scheduled code for a house sitter, then use a one-time code for a visitor. The app and website management system also let you manage users and view records, which is more useful for coordinating access than a basic keypad lock with no remote management.

Auto-lock and one-touch locking can reduce the chance of leaving the door unlocked by mistake. Privacy and passage modes offer different ways to handle access, while the low-battery alert gives you a warning to address power before the lock stops working. The practical tradeoff is that app-based remote control and sharing add convenience, but they also make this a more involved setup than a conventional keyed handle and deadbolt.

Product specs

The VE06-H has a satin nickel finish and offers five entry methods: app, code, fob, mechanical key, and thumb turn. The keypad supports 250+ user codes, and its features include auto-lock, one-touch locking, privacy mode, passage mode, and a low-battery alarm. The touchscreen is described as having anti-peeping and anti-hacking features.

It fits most standard US left- or right-handed doors between 1-3/8 and 2 inches thick. Installation requires three pre-drilled door holes, and the spacing between those holes must match the lock’s requirements. That is a meaningful limitation: door thickness alone does not confirm a fit, so check the existing hole layout before choosing it.

Alexa and Google Home compatibility requires the Veise G2 gateway, which is sold separately. The product includes a one-year limited warranty, with a free one-year extension available through registration. US phone support is available during listed weekday and Saturday hours, and email support is available around the clock.

Where it shines

The main draw is flexibility: a family member can use a fob, someone else can enter a code, and you can keep the mechanical key as another access method. If your hands are full at the end of the day, entering a code instead of searching for keys is a small but concrete convenience. Remote code sharing is also more practical than lending out a physical key when access is temporary.

Worth considering if you want a handle set with app-based user management and several backup entry methods. Without having tried it, the clearest buying question is whether your door’s existing holes meet its installation requirements. It’s not for you if you want a straightforward mechanical lock, do not need changing access codes, or want voice-assistant integration without buying a separate gateway.

Final verdict

The Veise VE06-H makes the most sense for buyers who expect to manage access for more than one person and will use its codes, app, or fobs. Its combination of remote sharing and conventional key access is more flexible than a basic deadbolt, but that flexibility comes with setup checks and an optional gateway for smart-home integration. Choose it when those access tools solve a real household or guest-management need, skip it if your priority is a simple replacement lock and your door’s hole spacing is uncertain.
