GHome Smart 4-in-1 Fingerprint Door Knob with Keypad and App Control

Choose from fingerprint, keypad, app, or mechanical-key entry to give family members and guests a convenient way to access a bedroom, apartment, garage, home, or office. The GHome Smart lock offers several ways to unlock without relying on a single entry method.

Manage up to 20 fingerprints and 20 passwords, then use the app to share permanent or temporary access codes. Fingerprint data is stored locally, supporting privacy without cloud storage.

For a door that needs controlled access, use fingerprints, codes, or the app, for a space where people should move freely, switch to passage mode. This flexibility makes the lock useful across different everyday routines.

Key features

Four unlocking methods give you options for different users and situations: fingerprint recognition, personalized passwords, app control within Bluetooth range, and mechanical keys for emergencies. The fingerprint reader is described as recognizing a fingerprint in 0.2 seconds, with unlocking in 1.5 seconds. Its self-learning feature adapts to use over time, while the stated recognition accuracy is 99.9%.

Use the app to manage fingerprints and passwords, share permanent or temporary access codes, and view access logs. No extra gateway is needed for app management. Silent mode can help keep entry quiet, while passage mode allows continuous access. A low-battery indicator helps you keep track of the rechargeable battery. After unlocking, the lock automatically locks again in 5 seconds.

The glossy black finish and aluminum construction suit a range of indoor settings, including bedrooms, apartments, garages, and offices. The lock is designed for doors 1-3/8" to 2-1/4" thick and installs with a screwdriver. Confirm that your door meets the stated thickness range before installation.

Practical tips

Set up fingerprints and passwords for the people who need access, and use temporary codes when access is only needed for a limited period. The app’s access logs provide a way to review entry activity, while the choice of silent or passage mode lets you tailor operation to the room and routine.

Fingerprint data stays stored locally rather than in the cloud. For everyday entry, choose the method that suits the user: a fingerprint for quick access, a password for someone who has not registered a print, app control within Bluetooth range, or a mechanical key for emergency access.

Tips for day-to-day use

The auto-lock feature secures the door 5 seconds after it is unlocked. If people need to pass through repeatedly, passage mode offers continuous access, silent mode is available when quieter operation is preferred. Check the battery indicator as part of routine lock management. The 400mAh rechargeable battery is specified to charge fully in 4-6 hours, with up to 10,000 unlocks or 300+ days of use, depending on usage frequency.

Before fitting the lock, measure the door thickness and make sure it falls within the supported range. Installation uses a screwdriver. Once installed, register the fingerprints and passwords you plan to use, then select the app settings and access mode that match the space.
