Veise Front Door Handle Lock Set Satin Nickel

Coming and going through a front or side door is simpler when one key operates both the handle lock and the deadbolt. The Veise keyed-alike set is designed to do that, with three included keys.

Its lever is reversible for left- or right-handed doors, and the finish is satin nickel. That makes it a practical replacement to consider when you want matching entry hardware without carrying separate keys for the two locks.

If you prioritize one-key convenience and a coordinated lever-and-deadbolt setup, this has a clear purpose, if you prefer the strongest available lock grade, its ANSI Grade 3 rating is an important limit to weigh.

Getting the most from it

Use the same key at either lock: one key works with both the deadbolt and the lever, though you still operate the locks separately. For example, when you come home with groceries, you can unlock the deadbolt and handle with the same key rather than sorting through keys for each mechanism. Three keys are included, which can help when more than one person needs access.

The set is intended for exterior doors such as front, side, back, and garage doors. It fits doors 1-3/8" to 1-3/4" thick with a 2-1/8" bore hole, and its adjustable backset supports 2-3/8" or 2-3/4". Check those measurements against your existing door before choosing it, the fit information does not mean it suits every door setup.

Why it’s worth it

The convenience here is the keyed-alike arrangement, not a promise that the locks operate as one mechanism. A set with separate keys may work just as well if you prefer independent access, but this approach reduces the number of keys you need for these two locks. Its anti-pick, anti-bump, and anti-drill features are intended to add protection, while ANSI Grade 3 gives you a specific security rating to compare with other choices.

The lever uses zinc alloy, with stainless steel components. The maker also lists a rust- and corrosion-resistant finish and IP65 waterproofing. Those claims may matter for an exterior entry, but the provided details do not explain how the finish performs in a particular climate or exposure. It’s a great fit if you want a single-key entry set with a reversible lever, It may not suit you if you need a higher ANSI grade or have a door outside the stated measurements.

Key features

The latch is adjustable, and the package includes a strike plate and mounting hardware. The lever can be reversed for left- or right-handed doors, with a reversal tool, video, and illustrated instructions included. The maker says installation takes under 15 minutes with a screwdriver and no special tools, according to the maker, check that the machine screws are pre-installed in the handle before starting.

The set is listed as tested for 250,000+ cycles. That gives a durability figure to consider, but it is not a substitute for checking door fit or deciding whether Grade 3 meets your security needs. A 1-year limited warranty is included, with a free 1-year extension available through product registration. US phone support is listed for weekdays and Saturdays, with email support available around the clock.

When it makes sense

Consider this set when you are replacing a lever and deadbolt together and want one key for both, especially if the reversible handle and adjustable latch match your door. It offers more convenience than buying two keyed-differently locks, while keeping the installation focused on standard door measurements listed by the maker.

Skip it if your door falls outside the stated thickness, bore, or backset dimensions, or if ANSI Grade 3 is below the level you are looking for. For a straightforward exterior-door replacement, matching the measurements and accepting that grade are the key decisions—not the promise of a quick installation alone.
