ISEYOU 8112 Key Lock Box with 12-Digit Keypad and Portable Shackle
Product description
When several people need access to the same key, a secure handoff matters more than a fixed storage spot. For occasional visits, rentals, or shared household access, a portable combination lockbox keeps keys in one designated place rather than exposed under a doormat or in a flowerpot.
The ISEYOU 8112 pairs a mechanical keypad with a shackle you can move between suitable fixtures.
What to know
This lockbox uses a resettable, 12-digit mechanical keypad, with large buttons for entering a customized combination. The manufacturer recommends setting a 4–8 digit password for easier recall and suggests keeping a written or photographed reminder in a secure place. This gives households or service providers a way to share access without arranging a direct key exchange for every visit.
Inside, the enlarged storage area is designed to hold up to 10 standard door keys, car key fobs, or access cards. An internal anti-slip hook helps keep multiple keys organized instead of loose together. The case is made of alloy steel and aluminum, a waterproof ABS cover helps shield the keypad area from rain and dust for outdoor placement. Overall dimensions are 2.35"D x 3.74"W x 5.9"H, and the box is purple.
Buyer feedback often highlights the lockbox’s functionality and ease of installation. Experiences with operation are mixed: some buyers find it straightforward to use, while others report difficulty opening it. Setting a memorable combination and keeping its record secure can help make routine access smoother.
Best use cases
The shackle attaches to a doorknob, fence, railing, or gate, so you can choose a practical location and move the box when access needs change. Installation does not require drilling or screws, making it useful when you want a key-sharing point without mounting hardware or alterations to a wall or door.
For example, a host can place a key where a short-term guest can retrieve it, then share the combination for that stay. The same setup can support access for family members, cleaners, pet sitters, contractors, or real estate showings. Compared with arranging an in-person handoff, the lockbox offers a shared access point, compared with leaving a key in an exposed hiding spot, it keeps the key behind a combination-controlled cover.
Who it’s for
This model suits households, rental hosts, and property professionals who need a portable way to provide access to keys, fobs, or cards. Its capacity is useful when one person needs to store several items together, while the shackle design works for users who want to choose the location rather than install a permanent wall-mounted box. The mechanical keypad also makes it a practical choice for sharing a combination instead of coordinating a physical key transfer.
