HEI LIANG Fingerprint Door Lock, Polished Black

Fingerprint access is the standout feature of this HEI LIANG door lock: it offers a keyless alternative for a bedroom or office door.

The polished black finish gives the knob a more noticeable look than a basic, utilitarian lock. It may suit a space where the hardware is part of the room’s appearance.

If you prioritize fingerprint access with keypad and app control, this setup is worth considering, if you prefer a straightforward keyed knob with clearly stated door-fit details, the listing leaves more questions.

Getting the most from it

The product is presented as a biometric smart door knob with fingerprint unlocking, a keypad, and app control. That combination gives you several listed access options, though the description does not explain how each one is set up or which app functions are available. Don’t assume app control includes remote unlocking or guest access without confirmation.

Picture using it on a home office door: you approach with your hands full, use the fingerprint feature, and avoid searching for a key. The keypad and app control may also be useful, but their exact operating requirements aren’t provided. You’ll appreciate it if you want keyless access and are comfortable checking setup details before installation.

Although the product is described as easy to install, there’s no information about compatible door dimensions, installation steps, or what tools are needed. Treat that claim as a starting point, not a guarantee that it will fit every existing knob opening. If you’re replacing a lock, compare the door’s current hardware and the product’s actual fit requirements first.

Why it’s worth it

The appeal is convenience without relying on a conventional key as the only listed way in. Fingerprint entry is the defining feature, while the keypad and app control provide additional ways to manage access. The polished black finish also distinguishes it from a basic replacement knob chosen mainly for function.

That said, the available details don’t establish how many fingerprints or keypad users it can store, whether it needs batteries, or what happens if electronic access is unavailable. Those are practical questions for a door lock, not minor extras. A traditional keyed knob may be the simpler choice if you want familiar operation and straightforward compatibility information, this model is more relevant if biometric and app-based access are the reason for upgrading.

At a glance

This is a fingerprint door lock in a polished black finish, described as keyless and equipped with a keypad and app control. Bedrooms, offices, hotels, and apartments are named as possible settings, but no installation or access-management details are supplied for those uses.

There’s also a mismatch worth noticing: the accompanying description says “1 case of 24 Packs, 24 Count Total,” which doesn’t make clear whether it refers to this door lock or how many locks are included. On the spec sheet, that ambiguity matters if you’re choosing a single replacement knob or planning for several doors. Confirm the actual item and quantity before relying on the listing details.

When it makes sense

This lock makes the most sense if you want fingerprint access, value having a keypad and app control listed, and are willing to verify that it fits your door. Better avoided if you need confirmed measurements, detailed app capabilities, or a clear statement about the included quantity before deciding. The product gives a useful outline of its access approach, but not enough installation or technical detail to settle those questions on its own.
