Their attempt to share the house gives the series its distinctive mix of supernatural setup, everyday disputes, and character-driven humor. Choose this DVD collection for a full-series viewing experience, a single-season release is a more focused choice when you only want to revisit part of the story.

What to know

Ghosts is a comedy about the uneasy household formed by the living newcomers and the spirits who have called Button House home for centuries. The ghosts’ different backgrounds shape their personalities and their arguments, while Alison and Mike’s hotel plans keep bringing the two sides into conflict. That combination gives the story room for both recurring comic disagreements and the couple’s effort to deal with an ambitious renovation project.

This release is on DVD, contains five discs, and is in English. It is rated NR. The complete-series format is useful when you want the show collected in one set rather than choosing individual seasons. The premise also makes it easy to pick up for a casual comedy session: the central situation is clear, and the humor comes from the spirits’ clashing perspectives as well as the practical challenge of living together.

Practical tips

For everyday handling, hold discs by their edges and return them to suitable protective storage after viewing. Keep the surfaces free of fingerprints and scratches to help preserve them for future sessions. If more than one person in the household uses the set, storing the discs in order makes it easier to continue through the series without searching for the next installment.

Everyday use

The five-disc collection suits a planned watch-through, but it also works for dipping back into the characters and their ongoing house-share. At Button House, the comedy grows from a simple contrast: Alison and Mike are trying to make the property function as a hotel, while its ghosts are attached to the home and their own long-standing routines. That setup gives viewers a continuing story rather than a collection of unrelated sketches.

Buyers often highlight the show’s humor, memorable characters, and appeal for repeat viewing. Reactions to the pacing are mixed, and some report DVD compatibility concerns, so the viewing experience can depend on the player and the individual’s preferences. The series’ combination of comic bickering and more emotionally engaging moments may appeal to viewers who want a comedy with character relationships at its center, not just supernatural gags.

Final verdict

This is a practical pick for Ghosts fans who want the complete series together on DVD and enjoy a comedy built around an unusual shared-home premise. Its five-disc format brings the Button House story, its varied spirits, and Alison and Mike’s hotel plans into one collection for a full-series watch or a return to favorite characters.
