RitoTech 508A Black Remanufactured Toner Cartridge with Smart Chip

Buyers choosing a toner cartridge often weigh an original replacement against a remanufactured one. This RitoTech cartridge is a remanufactured black option for listed HP Color LaserJet models. Its smart chip supports toner-level tracking. The stated yield is up to 6,000 pages under a specific coverage condition.

The practical appeal is straightforward: this cartridge combines black toner, a smart chip, and tracking in a single replacement for the listed printer families. That makes it relevant for a home office or workplace that needs black printing and wants to monitor the toner level as it is used. The yield figure can help with planning, but it is not a guaranteed count for every print mix, the stated estimate assumes 5% coverage on A4 paper.

Because the cartridge is remanufactured, it suits shoppers who are open to that type of replacement rather than specifically seeking a new original cartridge. No price or savings claim is supported by the supplied details, so the decision is better based on printer fit and cartridge type. Worth considering if your printer is one of the listed M553, M552, or M577 models and you want toner-level tracking. Not the best choice if your printer is outside the stated compatibility list or you need a color cartridge.

Practical tips

Match the printer’s exact model to the compatibility list before ordering, especially if it belongs to the MFP M577 family. The listing identifies this as a black cartridge and names M553, M552, and M577 printers, it does not establish compatibility with other HP series. For an office that prints mostly text, the page-yield estimate offers a reference point, while documents with heavier black coverage may not align with that figure. Keep the 5% A4 basis in mind when estimating how long one cartridge may last.

The smart chip is specified for toner-level tracking, which can help you keep an eye on remaining toner and plan a replacement. It does not change the basic compatibility requirement: the printer still needs to be one of the models identified for this cartridge. Check the model name on the printer itself rather than relying only on a series name.

Included in the package

The package is listed as one black 508A/508X-compatible remanufactured toner cartridge. The supplied information does not list additional accessories or other toner colors in this pack, so it is best treated as a single-cartridge purchase.

Is it worth it?

This RitoTech cartridge is worth considering when the printer match is clear, black toner is what you need, and you are comfortable choosing a remanufactured replacement with a smart chip. Its listed compatibility and stated page yield make the main buying checks easy to identify. If you need color toner, a different printer series, or specifically require a new original cartridge, this listing does not establish that it meets those needs.
