Ankink Black Ink Cartridge 240XL

For PIXMA owners who mainly print documents, these Ankink 240XL black cartridges offer a two-cartridge replacement pack for selected printers. The listing names models including the MG3620, TS5120, MX452, and MG3220, among others.

The practical appeal is having a spare cartridge ready when the current one runs low. If you prioritize a two-pack for black text, this fits that approach, if you prefer an original manufacturer cartridge, this is explicitly a third-party replacement.

Check the exact printer model before choosing. Compatibility is limited to the models listed, and a similar-looking PIXMA model is not automatically confirmed as supported.

Where it shines

This pack is geared toward routine black printing: think school forms, shipping labels, or a few pages of notes before heading out. The listing describes pigment-based ink intended to produce clear text, so its strongest use case is everyday documents rather than buying a mixed-color set. It includes two black cartridges, which can be useful if you would rather keep a replacement on hand than shop again as soon as one runs out.

The stated yield is up to 630 pages per PG-240XL cartridge at 5% coverage, according to the maker. Treat that as a reference rather than a promise for every household: actual page counts depend on how much ink each page uses, and the listing does not provide a yield for other coverage levels.

Highlights

The main buying detail is the combination of a two-pack and a broad, named compatibility list. It includes several PIXMA MG, MX, and TS models, such as the MG2120, MG3520, MX470, and TS5120. Because the list is specific, match your printer’s full model number against it rather than relying on the cartridge number alone.

These are not OEM cartridges. That distinction matters if you specifically want supplies made by the printer manufacturer, if you are open to a compatible replacement, the pack’s stated purpose is to provide black ink for supported printers. The product description says each cartridge undergoes compatibility inspections, but it does not give details about testing methods or performance guarantees, so there is limited information for judging consistency beyond the claims provided.

Best use cases

Worth considering if your printer appears on the compatibility list and most of your printing is black text. For example, a household that prints occasional homework pages and keeps a spare in a desk drawer may find the two-pack more convenient than buying one cartridge at a time. It may not suit you if you need color ink, want an OEM cartridge, or cannot confirm your exact printer model from the listed models. This is a black-only replacement, not a complete color-ink solution.

Final verdict

This Ankink 240XL pack makes sense as a practical replacement for supported PIXMA printers when the goal is routine black-document printing and having a second cartridge available. Its clearest trade-offs are that it is third-party, black-only, and tied to a specific compatibility list. Check the full printer model and be comfortable with the stated yield being based on 5% page coverage before choosing it.
