Cool Toner compatible toner cartridges, 4-pack

Replacing toner across a color laser printer can mean juggling several cartridges, especially when black and color supplies run low at different times. This Cool Toner compatible set groups the four colors together for listed HP Color LaserJet Enterprise printers, so you can stock black, cyan, yellow, and magenta replacements at once. It is aimed at owners of specific M552, M553, and M577 models who want a compatible alternative rather than a single-color cartridge. The main trade-off is that the listing does not provide a clear, unambiguous page-yield figure, so it is hard to estimate how long the set will last for your workload.

Technical details

The package contains four compatible toner cartridges: one black CF360X, one cyan CF361X, one yellow CF362X, and one magenta CF363X. The listing associates them with the 508X and 508A toner families and identifies the cartridges as a new version. Since the description presents this as a compatible set, treat it as a replacement option, not as an original HP cartridge.

The stated page yields are tied to 5% coverage on Letter/A4 pages, but the figures in the supplied listing are unclear. In practice, a page with dense color graphics or large areas of solid ink can use toner differently from a mostly text-based page, so those claims would not give every office a reliable replacement schedule. If your team needs predictable output volumes, compare the exact cartridge designation and yield information before ordering.

Compatibility

The listing names HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M552 and M553 printers, including M552dn, M553dn, M553n, and M553x, as well as the MFP M577 series, including M577c, M577z, M577dn, and M577f. Match the full printer model and cartridge designation against your current supplies, a family name alone may not settle whether a particular configuration is covered.

For example, an office using an M553dn for routine documents and occasional color charts could replace all four color positions from one set instead of sourcing each color separately. That is the convenience angle here. If your printer model is not among those listed, the provided information does not establish compatibility with it. It suits you if your printer is one of the named models and you want a complete CMYK replacement set. You may want to skip it if you specifically require HP-branded toner or need a clearly stated page yield to plan purchasing.

Usage tips

Before installing, check the cartridge codes on the supplies currently in your printer and keep the colors matched to their intended positions. Store any cartridges you are not using in their packaging until needed, and follow the printer’s own installation instructions. From the way it is set up, this bundle is most useful when several colors are due for replacement or when keeping a full set on hand matters more than buying only the color that has run out.

A practical distinction: a single replacement cartridge makes more sense when only one color is depleted and you want to avoid holding unused supplies. This four-pack is the broader restocking approach, but it means buying all four colors together whether or not each one is currently low.

Before you decide

Which colors are included? One cartridge each in black, cyan, yellow, and magenta, identified as CF360X through CF363X.

Which printers are named? The listing specifies selected M552, M553, and M577 series models, including the variants listed above. It does not confirm compatibility with unlisted models.

Can the page yield be estimated from the listing? The stated basis is 5% coverage on Letter/A4 pages, but the supplied yield figures are unclear. Actual usage can also vary with page content.

Is it worth it?

This set makes sense when you own one of the listed printers, want all four toner colors in one purchase, and are comfortable choosing compatible supplies. Its useful advantage is the complete CMYK bundle, its less convenient side is that you cannot buy only the color you need, and the unclear yield figures make long-term usage harder to forecast. Choose it for convenient four-color restocking, not if original HP branding or precise yield planning is a requirement.
