Cool Toner TN436 Toner Cartridge Set

Highlights

For owners of compatible Brother color printers who want to replace black and color toner in one order, this Cool Toner TN436 set includes four cartridges: black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. It’s a compatible replacement set, not a claim that these are Brother-branded cartridges.

Each cartridge is rated for up to 6,500 pages at 5% coverage, which can help with supply planning if your printing is mostly text or lightly covered pages. The actual count depends on what you print, without that measurement, the stated yield is a reference rather than a guaranteed page count.

How it fits

The listed compatible models are Brother HL-L8360CDW, HL-L8360CDWT, HL-L9310CDW, MFC-L8900CDW, and MFC-L9570CDW. Match the complete model number on your printer before ordering, a similar-looking model name alone isn’t enough to establish compatibility.

It makes sense if you want all four toner colors on hand, such as when a color handout is due and you don’t want to discover that cyan or yellow is the missing supply. If you only need one color, a full set may leave you with cartridges you won’t use soon. It might not be a great match if your printer model isn’t among those listed or if you’re specifically looking for Brother-branded toner.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the model list accessible when replenishing supplies, and check which color is running low before opening a replacement. A set can be convenient for a busy office that uses black text one day and color charts or presentations the next, but it doesn’t mean every cartridge will run out at the same time.

Ten en cuenta que the 6,500-page figure is based on 5% coverage for each cartridge. Pages with large, saturated graphics can use toner differently from lightly printed documents, so treat the estimate as a planning aid rather than a promise. The listing describes the set as producing clear prints and vivid colors, but it doesn’t provide independent test results or more detailed print-quality measurements.

Practical doubts

What’s included? One black TN436BK cartridge and one each of cyan TN436C, magenta TN436M, and yellow TN436Y.

Which printers are listed as compatible? The HL-L8360CDW, HL-L8360CDWT, HL-L9310CDW, MFC-L8900CDW, and MFC-L9570CDW.

Is the stated yield per set or per cartridge? It’s listed as up to 6,500 pages per cartridge, including black and each of the three color cartridges, at 5% coverage.

Final verdict

This set is most useful when you have one of the listed Brother models and want a four-color replacement supply in a single purchase. The per-cartridge yield gives a reference for planning, but actual use varies with page coverage, and the listing doesn’t establish performance beyond its own description. If you need only one toner color, or want a Brother-branded cartridge, a different buying approach may fit better.
