Valuetoner Compatible Toner Cartridges 4-Pack
Product description
If you just need a compatible replacement for a listed HP printer, this Valuetoner set is aimed at that straightforward job. A multipack may be more convenient than sourcing cartridges one at a time, but the product details do not clearly settle how many cartridges are actually included. Check that point before choosing it, especially if quantity is the main reason you’re considering the set.
Key specifications
- Type: Compatible replacement toner cartridges
- Cartridge identifier: HP 79A, CF279A
- Listed printer compatibility: LaserJet Pro M12, M12a, M12w, MFP M26, MFP M26a, and MFP M26nw
- Pack size in product name: 4-pack
The description says the cartridges have an upgraded chip and undergo quality testing, but it does not provide page yield, toner capacity, or other performance figures. Those omissions make it harder to compare expected running costs or estimate how long a cartridge might last. From the way it is set up, this is a compatibility-focused replacement, not a detailed spec sheet for buyers who need predictable output estimates.
Who it’s for
It suits you if you own one of the listed printer models and want a compatible HP 79A replacement rather than an HP-branded cartridge. For a typical replacement, you would match the printer’s cartridge requirement to the CF279A identifier, then use the replacement when the current toner runs out. That’s a more direct buying route than choosing a toner by printer family alone, where the cartridge number may be easy to overlook.
You may want to skip it if you need a confirmed page yield, toner capacity, or an unambiguous count before ordering. The product name says 4-pack, while the supplied description also includes conflicting “1 Pack” and “90 Packs” wording. That mismatch is a real limitation, not a detail to gloss over.
What you get
The product name identifies a four-cartridge pack of compatible HP 79A / CF279A replacements. However, the accompanying description does not consistently confirm that quantity: it refers both to one pack and to 90 packs. Since those statements conflict with the product name and with each other, the included quantity cannot be established confidently from the supplied details alone. Make sure the actual pack count is clear before relying on it for a planned replacement.
The listing also describes an upgraded chip and a quality-testing process. Those are stated product claims, there are no test results or print samples here to assess. In practical terms, the most useful checks are whether your exact printer appears in the compatibility list and whether the quantity shown for the item matches what you need.
Questions before you buy
Which printers are listed as compatible? The listed models are LaserJet Pro M12, M12a, M12w, MFP M26, MFP M26a, and MFP M26nw.
Is this an HP-branded cartridge? It is described as a compatible replacement for HP 79A, not as an HP-branded cartridge.
Does the supplied information clearly confirm four cartridges? No. The product name says 4-pack, but the description also gives conflicting pack-count wording, so the quantity needs clarification.
Buying verdict
This set makes sense to consider when your printer is one of the specifically listed models and you are comfortable buying a compatible toner replacement. The HP 79A / CF279A identifier helps narrow the match, and the stated chip and testing details may be relevant to shoppers looking for a replacement with those features. The unresolved pack-count wording and missing yield information are the trade-offs. Choose it only if the quantity is clear and you do not need a stated page-yield figure, otherwise, a listing with consistent contents and fuller specifications is the safer fit.
