Meowant MW-SC02-Grey Automatic Self-Cleaning Cat Litter Box with App Control

The essentials

At 20.04 x 19.29 x 21.54 inches, the Meowant MW-SC02-Grey is an open-top, automatic self-cleaning litter box made from polypropylene. Its 6.8-inch low entry gives cats a more accessible way in, while the open design provides a roomy litter area. For homes moving beyond a traditional scoop-and-clean routine, the automatic cycle and built-in waste bin bring cleaning into one unit.

Nine sensors detect when a cat has left before cleaning begins. The sealed waste bin and odor remover are designed to help manage smells, and the box works with most clumping cat litters. It supports up to six cats, with automatic, scheduled, and do-not-disturb cleaning modes.

Getting the most from it

The AIRPET app connects over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and lets you select cleaning modes and view cat data records. That gives multi-cat households a way to manage cleaning from a phone and keep track of recorded activity. Cats of similar weight may be misidentified, so the records are best considered alongside what you observe at home.

What makes this format useful for a busy household? Cleaning starts automatically after the cat leaves, while the integrated bin keeps waste collection part of the same setup. The quiet 35dB motor is intended to make cleaning less disruptive, including during nighttime use. Buyer feedback also highlights straightforward setup and maintenance, though opinions about odor control and available space vary, some customers report leakage concerns as well.

Practical tips

Place the box where your cat can approach the low entrance comfortably, and choose a clumping litter for compatibility with the cleaning system. The open-top layout offers an accessible alternative to enclosed or drawer-style automatic boxes. If you are introducing an automatic box, keep the cat’s usual routine in mind as it gets familiar with the new setup.

For a household with several cats, the app’s cleaning modes can help match operation to the home’s schedule, while do-not-disturb mode offers a quieter routine when needed. The product is designed to support up to six cats, and its recorded data can provide context about their activity. It suits you if you want automatic cleaning, app controls, and a low entrance in one litter box.
