Meowant MW-SC09 Grey Automatic Litter Box, 106L, App Control & Low Entry

For a multi-cat home, the Meowant MW-SC09 Grey provides a self-cleaning litter space with app-based monitoring. Its low entry is designed to make access easier for senior and large cats. Want a clearer view of each cat’s litter-box habits? The AIRPET app tracks visit frequency, duration, and weight changes over 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.

What to know

The covered box has a 106L interior and a 9L litter capacity, giving cats room to dig and turn around. It is designed for cats weighing 3.3 to 30 pounds, and its low entrance helps make getting in and out more accessible. The product measures 18 x 25 x 21 inches and is made from polypropylene (PP).

Automatic cleaning is paired with sensors that detect a cat’s entry and send weight alerts. The drum and waste drawer rotate together, while the limited-angle rotation keeps the entrance open during the cycle. For odor management, the design combines a sealed waste bin with a silicone gasket, deodorizing components, and a waterproof, scratch-resistant liner. Odor control can be a personal consideration: some customers praise it, while others report that smells remain noticeable. Buyers also highlight the roomy interior and quiet operation, though feedback on cleaning is mixed and some mention scattered litter or cats that won’t use the box.

Compared with a standard box that depends on manual scooping, the SC09 adds automatic cleaning and app-based activity tracking. That combination is useful when you want to keep tabs on visits and weight changes as part of your household routine.

Practical tips

The removable drum can be lifted out for rinsing, and its drainage holes help it dry after washing. Keep cleaning straightforward by wiping the base with a damp cloth rather than washing it. The included litter mat, liner, and deodorant gel support setup and ongoing upkeep, the accessories are packed inside the waste bin, so take it out when unpacking.

Everyday use

Place the box where your cats can reach the low entrance, then use the app to manage cleaning cycles and review activity data. In a home with more than one cat, visit frequency, duration, and weight changes can help you follow each pet’s routine. The motor is rated at 36 decibels, a practical detail for shared living spaces where a quieter cleaning cycle matters.

The automatic litter box also comes with an adapter and instruction manual. For households moving from a manually scooped box, its main difference is the combination of scheduled-use convenience and cat activity information in one connected setup. You’ll appreciate it if you want an extra-large covered box with app controls rather than a basic litter pan.

Is it worth it?

The MW-SC09 Grey suits cat owners looking for a spacious automatic box, an accessible entry, and a way to monitor visits through an app. Its removable drum supports rinsing, while the sealed waste drawer and deodorizing components are designed to help manage odors. Those features make it a practical choice for multi-cat routines where space, automatic cleaning, and activity tracking are priorities.
