FZGhome T166 Extra Large Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box with Flip Lid
Product description
At 23.62 inches long, this extra-large FZGhome litter box pairs a stainless steel pan with a high-sided, covered design. Its spacious footprint gives larger cats room to turn, while the overlapping sides are designed to help contain splashes and leaks from cats that spray higher or make a mess.
The flip lid opens to make routine access easier, and a built-in handle helps when moving the box for maintenance. A litter mat, pedal, and scoop are included, so the set brings together useful pieces for setting up a dedicated litter area.
What to know
The T166 is a covered litter box made with stainless steel, ABS, and plastic, in beige. Its dimensions are 23.62 inches long by 15.75 inches wide by 15.35 inches high. High sides and an overlapping structure are intended to help keep urine and litter inside the box, making the enclosed layout especially relevant for cats that scatter litter or spray above the usual pan height. The listed capacity is 30L+.
The modular design can be assembled as an enclosed box, a semi-enclosed setup, or an open pan. That flexibility makes it possible to adjust the layout to a cat’s preferences or to the way the litter area is arranged. Compared with choosing a fixed covered box or a basic open tray, this design offers both a contained configuration and the option to open it up. The set includes the litter box with lid, litter mat, pedal, and scoop.
Customer feedback highlights the appearance and roomy size, with some buyers also praising odor reduction. These are buyer impressions rather than a substitute for the box’s practical features: the covered structure provides a more enclosed litter area, while the high sides address mess around the pan.
Cleaning & care
The stainless steel pan has a nonstick surface and is designed to be wiped clean. The lid flips open 130° to provide access for daily scooping and routine cleaning without requiring the whole top to be removed. The built-in handle can help when moving the box during maintenance. Keep the mat near the entrance to catch litter tracked out of the pan, and use the included scoop for regular waste removal.
Everyday use
Set the box up in the configuration that suits your cat and the space: enclosed for a more private litter area, semi-enclosed as a middle ground, or open as a pan. The roomy interior supports turning inside the box, while the high sides provide extra containment during everyday use. In a home where litter tends to spread around the box, the included mat offers a place for stray pieces to collect as the cat exits. The pedal is also part of the set, giving you another component for organizing the litter station.
Final verdict
For cat owners looking for a larger litter box with more containment than a standard open pan, the FZGhome T166 brings together a spacious stainless steel base, high sides, a flip lid, and adjustable assembly options. Its included mat and scoop make it a practical choice for creating a coordinated litter area, while the wipe-clean pan and hinged lid support regular care.
