MIXJOY PTSP0254-DG XL Stainless Steel Cat Litter Boxes, 2-Pack, High Sides

Choosing a litter box for a large cat is different from choosing one for a compact space. The MIXJOY PTSP0254-DG set includes two XL boxes, each with a listed 23"L x 15"W footprint and an 11" height.

If your priority is room to move, the roomy pans give larger cats more space to use the box. If keeping scattered litter contained matters more, the high-sided enclosure and entrance filter pedal address that everyday mess from different angles.

The stainless steel pan, smooth nonstick surface, and included scoop make this a practical setup for regular cleaning in a home with one or more cats.

Best use cases

These XL boxes are designed for big cats and multi-cat households that need generous litter space. The high walls help contain litter kicked during digging, while the raised sides are also intended to help manage urine spray from cats that pee high. An entrance filter pedal provides a place for litter to fall away from a cat’s paws as it exits.

Compared with choosing a basic open, low-sided tray, this setup puts more emphasis on space and containment. That can be useful in a busy litter area where scattered litter is a recurring part of daily cleanup. The two-box format also gives a household more than one litter station to place where it works best.

Buyers often praise the metal construction and say the smooth surface is easy to clean, with some also noting less odor and litter tracking. Feedback on size is mixed: some find the boxes roomy for two cats, while others feel the advertised dimensions look smaller in person. Use the listed measurements to plan the placement area.

Tips for day-to-day use

Place each box on a stable, level surface and leave enough room around the entrance for your cat to step in and out comfortably. The anti-slip pads on the bottom are intended to help keep the box steady during use. Keep the entrance filter pedal clear so it can catch litter from paws, and use the included scoop for routine waste removal.

The stainless steel pan has a smooth, nonstick surface designed to make cleaning more straightforward. When refreshing litter, remove waste with the scoop and clean the pan as part of your normal litter-box routine. With two boxes, you can set up separate stations around the home or keep both in a shared litter area, depending on your cats’ routine.

What to clarify

How many litter boxes are in the set? The product is a two-pack, so it includes two XL litter boxes.

What are the listed dimensions of each box? Each is listed as 23"L x 15"W x 11"H. Allow for that footprint when choosing a placement spot.

What helps contain litter around the entrance? The high-sided design helps contain kicked litter, and a filter pedal at the entrance is intended to catch litter from paws as a cat exits.

Final verdict

The MIXJOY PTSP0254-DG is suited to homes looking for two spacious litter stations with stainless steel pans, high sides, and features aimed at managing everyday scatter. Its roomy format serves large cats and multi-cat households, while the smooth pan supports a simple, regular cleaning routine.
