Cumbor S7V2 Extra-Wide Baby Gate, 30–54-Inch, Auto-Close, Dual Lock

The adjustable width makes it easier to create a barrier across doorways, hallways, and stairways without choosing a fixed-size gate. The Cumbor S7V2 spans 30–54 inches and stands 30.5 inches tall.

Its walk-through door swings both ways, so adults can pass through while carrying laundry, groceries, or a child. An automatic close and double-lock design add practical control for busy homes with kids and pets.

Choose pressure mounting for tool-free setup in doorways and hallways, or hardware mounting for added security in areas such as stairs. Y-bolts are included for a secure fit on round banisters.

How to use it

Measure the opening and adjust the gate to fit a width from 30 to 54 inches. Use the pressure-mount option for doorways and hallways where tool-free installation is useful. For a stairway or another high-traffic location, hardware mounting offers an additional way to secure the gate. The included Y-bolts help attach it to round banisters.

Once installed, open the walk-through door with one hand and let the automatic-close feature shut it behind you. The door swings in either direction and can be held open hands-free when you need to move back and forth. This setup is useful for separating a kitchen, bedroom, or hallway from the rest of the home while keeping an adult passage available.

Why it’s worth it

Rather than relying on a fixed-width barrier or a gate that must be removed for every pass-through, this design combines an adjustable fit with an everyday walk-through door. Its double-lock system adds another layer of control, while automatic closing helps keep the gate in its closed position during normal household traffic.

The steel frame is built for daily use around children and pets. Buyers commonly praise the gate’s ease of installation and operation, sturdy feel, and clean appearance, some also appreciate using it for both dogs and grandchildren. These impressions complement the practical combination of adjustable coverage and hands-free access.
