Peluasua Retractable Baby Gate, 55" Wide x 33" Tall Mesh, No Bottom Rail
Product description
Families looking to create a barrier across a doorway, hallway, or stairway can use this retractable mesh gate in openings up to 55" wide. It stands 33" tall and rolls away when it is not in use, keeping the passage open without a fixed gate across the floor.
The no-bottom-rail design leaves the floor clear, while one-hand operation makes it practical to open and close during everyday household routines.
Usage tips
Measure the opening before installation and use the included screws and mounting accessories to attach the gate hardware. The lower bracket slides up or down to accommodate different baseboard heights, helping align the gate near walls and trim. Once mounted, use the press-and-push lock to open or close the mesh with one hand.
This gate is intended for children ages 6–24 months and pets up to 40 lbs. It can be used in doorways, hallways, kitchens, bedrooms, and stairway openings, as well as on decks. For routine care, wipe the mesh with a damp cloth. When the barrier is not needed, retract it to clear the passage rather than leaving a gate panel across the floor.
What you’ll notice day to day
The retractable format offers a different approach from a rigid gate that remains across an opening: roll the mesh out to create a barrier, then retract it to restore an open walkway. That can be useful in busy areas where family members regularly pass through. With no bottom rail, there is no floor threshold to step over as you move between rooms.
The press-and-push lock is designed for adult one-hand operation, including moments when a caregiver is carrying a baby, toys, or groceries. Its locking design is intended to make unlocking more difficult for curious toddlers and pets. The mesh stays tensioned during everyday use, and the adjustable lower mounting bracket helps the hardware fit around different baseboard heights.
