DEARBB Baby Gate with 1.37-Inch Tube Spacing
Product description
Parents and pet owners looking to block a wide doorway without drilling may find the DEARBB extra-wide baby gate worth a closer look. Its pressure-mounted design is aimed at openings ranging from 30.11 to 77.36 inches, with adjustable pressure bolts for installation.
The closely spaced metal tubes are designed to help keep children and small pets from slipping through. A double-lock handle and automatic two-way closing add convenience for everyday trips between rooms.
Key specifications
This is a pressure-mounted metal safety gate with a stated fit range of 30.11–77.36 inches. The product description lists 1.37-inch spacing between the tubes and a 22.83-inch walk-through opening. That opening is intended to make passing through with a stroller easier, though it still helps to consider the full width of whatever you carry through regularly.
The gate opens in either direction and is designed to close automatically when the handle is released. Its handle uses a double-lock system: adults slide the button and lift to open it, while the maker describes the mechanism as difficult for children to operate. The description also says the steel construction can withstand 180 pounds of impact, according to the maker, that claim is not a substitute for checking the gate’s fit and installation.
Who it’s for
It suits you if you want a wide barrier for a doorway or kitchen entrance and prefer a setup that does not require drilling. For example, an adult carrying a stroller between rooms can use the walk-through opening rather than remove the gate each time. The two-way swing and automatic closing are also useful when hands are occupied, provided the gate is installed in a compatible opening.
It might not be a great match if your opening falls outside the listed width range, or if you need a gate with a wider walk-through than 22.83 inches. Pressure mounting is designed to avoid wall damage, but it also makes accurate positioning and a secure fit especially important. Measure the intended opening before choosing this style, particularly if you are considering it for stairs.
Everyday use
The everyday appeal is less about extra features than about reducing small interruptions: open the gate with one hand, pass through, and let the door swing shut behind you. The narrow tube spacing is a relevant detail for households with small pets or young children, while the metal frame is a more substantial approach than a lightweight barrier. The trade-off is that this is still a fixed-width gate, not a portable divider for changing room layouts.
Installation is described as tool-free, using four adjustable pressure bolts, with no drilling required. That can suit renters or anyone trying to avoid holes in a wall. No package contents beyond the gate and those bolts are specified, so there is no basis here to assume extra extensions or accessories are included.
Questions before you buy
What opening width does it fit? The listed range is 30.11 to 77.36 inches. Measure the space where the pressure bolts will sit and make sure it falls within that range.
Does it close by itself? The gate is designed to close automatically when released and to swing open in either direction.
Does installation require drilling? The product description says installation uses four adjustable pressure bolts and requires no tools or drilling. Follow the installation instructions and check that the gate is secure before relying on it.
Should you buy it?
This DEARBB gate makes sense if your priority is covering a wide opening with a pressure-mounted metal barrier, narrow tube spacing, and a walk-through door that closes automatically. Its stated width range and 22.83-inch passage are the deciding measurements: choose it when those dimensions suit your space and routine. Look elsewhere if your opening does not fit the range, you need a wider passage, or you specifically want a gate installed with hardware rather than pressure bolts.
