ALLAIBB 40.55" Extra Tall Baby Gate, White, Pressure-Mounted, Auto-Close
Product description
For households that need a tall barrier between curious crawlers or pets and areas such as the kitchen or stairs, the ALLAIBB gate combines a 40.55-inch height with an adjustable pressure-mount design. Its white finish suits indoor doorways, while the walk-through opening lets adults pass without removing the gate.
The two-way door opens in either direction, and the double-lock release is designed for adult operation with one hand. When released, the gate closes automatically, at a 90-degree opening, it can stay open for convenient passage.
Best use cases
Use this gate to create a boundary across an indoor doorway, kitchen entrance, or stair access. Its extra-tall frame is intended to help keep babies and pets out of designated areas, and the reinforced round tubes are spaced 1.97 inches apart. For a busy household, the walk-through design makes it practical to pass through the opening while maintaining a barrier between spaces.
It also suits wider openings where a standard narrow gate may not fit the layout. Adjustable pressure bolts provide the mounting method, and extensions can widen the setup for different spaces. The listed product dimensions are 73.62 inches wide by 40.55 inches high.
What stands out
The gate pairs a double-lock safety release with one-hand adult operation, so opening it does not require handling a separate panel. Its 180-degree, two-way swing supports entry from either side. The automatic-close action shuts the door when released, while the hold-open feature at a 90-degree angle is useful when carrying items through or moving repeatedly between rooms.
The frame is made from thick double carbon steel pipe, with a 0.047-inch-thick outer frame and 0.47-inch-diameter reinforced round pipe. The manufacturer reports that the 41-inch gate withstood a 180-pound pull in manual testing. These construction details distinguish it from a lightweight, minimal barrier approach for households looking for a taller gate with a reinforced frame.
Worth noting
Installation uses four adjustable pressure bolts and is described as tool-free, with no drilling required. This makes pressure mounting a practical choice for setting up a barrier without drilling holes into the wall. Follow the installation steps and leave the cable tie in place until the gate has been installed successfully. The white finish and indoor-use design make it a natural fit for doorways, kitchens, and stair areas.
The gate is designed to serve both baby-gate and pet-gate roles. That versatility can help keep one consistent barrier in shared household spaces, while its two-way opening and hold-open position support everyday movement through the home.
