Cumbor 30-54" Extra-Wide Baby Gate, Auto-Close Steel, Dual Lock

Pros

Create a clear boundary between rooms or at a stairway with the Cumbor gate, which adjusts from 30 to 54 inches wide and stands 30.5 inches tall. Its black carbon steel frame suits busy homes with children or pets.

The walk-through door swings in both directions, and its hands-free hold-open feature makes it easier to move through when carrying laundry, groceries, or a child. When released, the auto-close feature is designed to shut the gate behind you.

Need a barrier that still allows everyday movement through the house? The one-handed opening and double-lock design pair convenient access for adults with an added safeguard against children or pets opening the gate.

What to know

Choose pressure mounting for doorways and hallways where a tool-free setup is useful. For high-traffic areas such as stairs, the gate also supports hardware mounting for a more secure installation. Y-bolts are included to fit round banisters, providing a mounting option for this type of stair setup.

The adjustable width makes the gate useful across a range of openings, including bedroom doors, hallways, and kitchen entrances. A step-over ramp is included at the base, while the walk-through door provides another route for passing through. The combination can help households choose between stepping over the gate and opening it, depending on the situation.

Practical tips

Measure the opening where you plan to use the gate and set its adjustable width within the 30-to-54-inch range. Consider how people move through that area each day: the dual-swing door can open toward either side, and the hands-free hold-open feature can be useful when carrying items. For stairways and other high-traffic locations, use the hardware-mount option, the included Y-bolts are intended for round banisters.
