eSynic BY042 Foldable Children’s Play Tent, Metal Frame and LED Light Chain
Product description
At 100 x 120 x 130 cm, the eSynic BY042 gives children a dedicated space for make-believe, quiet reading or a little indoor hideaway. Its fairy-tale theme makes the playhouse easy to weave into imaginative games.
The polyester tent fabric sits on a metal frame, and the foldable design suits play areas that need to serve more than one purpose. A cotton-ball LED light chain is included to add a gentle decorative touch.
With a large entrance and two windows, children can get in and out easily and enjoy an airy place to play. Could one corner of the living room become a story-time retreat as well as a play space?
Getting the most from it
Set it up in a bedroom or living room for everyday play, a reading nook before bed or a pretend “secret base”. It can also be used outdoors in a garden or at a campsite, giving children a familiar spot for imaginative play away from home. Assembly is required, the manufacturer describes it as a tool-free set-up that takes about 10 minutes, so children can join in with an adult.
The large entrance makes it straightforward to step inside, while the two windows help keep the space ventilated. The tent is described for one to three children, making it a shared playhouse rather than a small personal den. When choosing between an open play mat and an enclosed play space, this tent offers a defined setting for stories, games and make-believe.

Why it’s worth it
Rather than serving only as a play tent, the BY042 can give a bedroom or living room a spot for reading, quiet time and imaginative games. Its fairy-tale look, windows and entrance help make that space feel distinct, while the metal support frame provides the structure for regular play. The included light chain adds a decorative detail for story time or make-believe.
Buyers often praise the tent’s size and straightforward assembly, and some describe it as sturdy. Feedback on durability is mixed, with some reporting issues with poles or stitching. The overall design is practical for families who want a children’s play area that can be used indoors and taken outdoors for garden or camping play.
