Barbie FXG52 Bunk Bed Set with Desk, Doll and Accessories

For children aged 3 and up who enjoy creating everyday stories for Barbie, the FXG52 combines a sleeping space and a desk in one playset. The lower bunk folds up to reveal a workspace, while the upper bed extends for a longer rest. A Barbie doll and small accessories help bring both scenes to life. The set is made from plastic and needs no assembly.

Usage tips

Lift the lower bed to uncover the desk, then arrange the chair, lamp and tablet to set up Barbie’s workspace. When the working day is over, Barbie can climb up to the bunk, pull out the upper bed to make it longer. The blanket adds another detail to bedtime play, and the tablet has a handle so the doll can hold it.

This changing layout gives children two linked scenes to act out without switching between separate pieces of bedroom and office furniture. It suits imaginative play at home, whether the story is about starting work, taking a break or getting ready for bed. The furniture can also be rearranged as part of a Barbie dollhouse setting. Barbie dolls, furniture and toys can be collected separately to build out those play scenes.

What stands out

The main difference from a fixed doll bed is the convertible design: folding the lower bunk creates a desk, so one furniture set supports both work and bedtime role-play. The upper bed also extends, giving the sleeping scene a second change of layout. These simple transformations make it easy to move between activities as a story develops.

The included Barbie doll wears a casual outfit with a pink-and-white striped top, denim skirt and white trainers. The lamp, chair, tablet and blanket add recognisable details for imaginative routines, from setting up a workspace to settling down to sleep. The doll cannot stand on her own, which is useful to bear in mind when arranging her beside the furniture.

Questions before you buy

What changes from bed to desk? Lift the lower bunk to reveal the desk area. The upper bunk remains available as a bed and can be extended for a longer sleeping space.

Which accessories are included? The set includes the Barbie doll with outfit, adjustable bunk bed, lamp, tablet, chair and blanket. The tablet has a handle that the doll can hold.

Does the set need to be assembled? No assembly is required, so the furniture can be arranged for play straight away.

Is it worth it?

This set is a practical choice for children who want one Barbie furniture piece to support more than one kind of story. Its bed-to-desk change, extendable upper bunk and included doll accessories create a ready-made setting for work and bedtime role-play. Choose it for a Barbie play space where a compact, changeable scene is more useful than a single-purpose bed.
