Key points

Ratkatz is the playful character from Gabby's Dollhouse who likes to surprise her friends and make them laugh. The plush gives children a tangible character to include in their own stories, whether they are acting out scenes from the animation or inventing new adventures. Its soft, cuddly form also suits quieter moments when a child wants a familiar toy close by.

Unlike a plain cat soft toy, this figure is based on a named character from the series, making it a more personal choice for a child who already knows Gabby's Dollhouse. It is made from polyester and measures around 25 cm tall. No assembly is required, so it can be ready for play without putting pieces together.

Getting the most from it

Use Ratkatz as a companion for pretend play, or add it to a child’s collection of Gabby's Dollhouse characters. Its character details can help prompt stories about the show’s playful surprises and friendships. For a simple play idea, children can take turns deciding where Ratkatz might appear next and what funny moment might follow.

The plush is washable, which is useful for a toy that may move between playtime and cuddles. Follow the care instructions supplied with the figure when washing it. Before giving it to a child, remove the label and attachment as directed in the safety notice.

Practical tips

At around 25 cm tall, Ratkatz is easy to include in tabletop play, carry between play areas or keep alongside other toys. It works well as a character-led gift for a Gabby's Dollhouse fan, while its soft construction makes it suited to cuddling as well as imaginative play. As it needs no assembly and no batteries, there is no set-up step before children can start playing.
