The headset is designed for Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Switch, as well as handhelds and mobile devices, the USB-C connection makes it practical to move between compatible setups. When playing, use the Arctis Companion App to select a game preset or adjust your audio profile in real time. The profiles can bring particular in-game sounds, such as footsteps, into sharper focus. When your session changes to a call or music, Quick-Switch makes it easy to move to Bluetooth.

Why it’s worth it

The combination of app-controlled presets and two wireless connections makes this headset suited to more than one routine. For a gaming session, 2.4GHz audio and tailored profiles let you adjust the sound for a particular title, afterwards, Bluetooth offers a straightforward switch to a mobile phone for music or calls. Rather than choosing a headset focused only on gaming or a separate everyday listening setup, you get both connection styles in one over-ear design.

Battery life is another practical advantage for longer sessions: a full charge is rated for up to 40 hours, and a 15-minute USB-C charge provides up to 9 hours of playback. At 260g, with an adjustable stretchy headband, it is built to be worn through extended play. Buyers’ comments are positive about sound, comfort, battery life and ease of setup, while feedback on value and reliability is mixed. Some also mention connection and durability concerns, so individual experiences vary.
