soundcore AeroFit 2 A3874 Open-Ear Headphones with AI Translation

Highlights

The open-ear format keeps the earbuds outside the ear canal, so you can listen without the pressure of an in-ear fit while staying aware of your surroundings. For a run, a walk or a podcast while travelling, that combination makes listening feel more connected to what is happening around you. The AeroFit 2 also adds real-time translation and a voice-activated AI assistant for everyday convenience.

Sound is delivered by 20 × 11.5 mm racetrack drivers with soundcore’s BassTurbo acoustic structure, designed to bring out fuller bass. Hi-Res Audio, LDAC support and Bluetooth 5.4 round out the listening features. Say “Hey Anka” to activate the assistant hands-free, or use the translation function for two-way communication in 100 languages and to follow speeches or meetings.

Customers often highlight sound quality and comfort in their feedback. Views on fit and translation are more mixed, making the adjustable hooks and the intended listening style useful points to consider when choosing open-ear headphones.

Size & fit

Four-level adjustable ear hooks and a double-curved surface let you tailor how the earbuds sit, while the open-ear design avoids placing them inside the ear canal. This is a useful distinction if you prefer a less enclosed feel during exercise or want to remain aware of nearby activity while listening. Adjust the hooks to find a secure, comfortable position before heading out, the fit can be fine-tuned rather than relying on a single fixed shape.

If you are comparing these with conventional in-ear earbuds, the key choice is whether you value an open fit and environmental awareness over an in-ear style. The AeroFit 2 is made for listening while keeping that open-ear approach, with fitness and travel among its stated uses.

Usage tips

Pair the earbuds with a compatible Bluetooth device, such as a smartphone, tablet or laptop, and use touch controls or voice commands to manage listening. For a workout or journey, the open-ear layout lets you hear music or a podcast while staying more connected to your surroundings. The IP55 water-resistance rating is suited to use where resistance to water matters, follow the product guidance for care and charging.

A charge provides up to 8.5 hours of playtime, with up to 35 hours in total when using the case. If you are short on time before leaving, a 10-minute charge is stated to provide up to 3 hours of playtime. The case also supports wireless charging, offering another way to recharge between outings. For translation, use the two-way feature when communicating or the real-time function to follow spoken content such as a meeting.

Is it worth it?

The AeroFit 2 brings several practical features together in one open-ear pair: adjustable hooks, bass-focused drivers, voice control, translation and wireless charging. That makes it worth considering if you want headphones for exercise or travel and prefer to listen without an in-ear fit. Its real-time translation and assistant features also make it more than a straightforward pair for music and podcasts, while the stated playtime helps support longer days between charges.
