## Description

Choose a headset that can move between gaming and everyday listening, with wireless options for both. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova 3X Wireless pairs 2.4GHz audio with Bluetooth and gives you app-based control of game sound. Want to tune what you hear without leaving your game? Its Companion App offers more than 200 game presets, including profiles for Call of Duty and Fortnite. A detachable microphone keeps the setup adaptable for play and other listening.

## How to use it
Connect through the compact USB-C dongle for 2.4GHz wireless gaming, or switch to Bluetooth with the power button for calls, music and other mobile audio. The headset is designed for Xbox, PlayStation, PC and Switch, as well as handhelds and mobile devices, the USB-C connection makes it practical to move between compatible setups. When playing, use the Arctis Companion App to select a game preset or adjust your audio profile in real time. The profiles can bring particular in-game sounds, such as footsteps, into sharper focus. When your session changes to a call or music, Quick-Switch makes it easy to move to Bluetooth.

The detachable mic is useful for team communication and can be removed when you want a simpler listening setup. Its over-ear design, stretchy headband and multiple adjustment points support a more personalised fit, while the dual-hinge construction is made for regular use.

## Why it’s worth it
The combination of app-controlled presets and two wireless connections makes this headset suited to more than one routine. For a gaming session, 2.4GHz audio and tailored profiles let you adjust the sound for a particular title, afterwards, Bluetooth offers a straightforward switch to a mobile phone for music or calls. Rather than choosing a headset focused only on gaming or a separate everyday listening setup, you get both connection styles in one over-ear design.

Battery life is another practical advantage for longer sessions: a full charge is rated for up to 40 hours, and a 15-minute USB-C charge provides up to 9 hours of playback. At 260g, with an adjustable stretchy headband, it is built to be worn through extended play. Buyers’ comments are positive about sound, comfort, battery life and ease of setup, while feedback on value and reliability is mixed. Some also mention connection and durability concerns, so individual experiences vary.

A solid pick if you want one headset for console or PC gaming and mobile listening, with app-based sound adjustments and a detachable mic.
