SmarTect Matte TPU Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, 2-Pack

Made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), this matte screen protector is designed for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. Its flexible film is intended to follow curved screen edges, while the matte finish reduces glare and an oleophobic coating helps resist fingerprints and dirt. The stated dimensions are 15.9L x 7.4W centimetres.

You get two films, plus a positioning aid, wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, anti-dust stickers and an instruction manual. That gives you a spare film and the basic kit for installation, rather than just a single protector with no cleaning accessories.

Key points

The main choice here is between a flexible film and a rigid tempered-glass protector. SmarTect describes TPU as suited to curved displays and as providing basic protection under light stress, tempered glass is the more relevant approach if shock and drop protection are your priority. This film is specified as scratch-resistant, anti-glare and anti-fingerprint, but those features should not be confused with drop protection.

Its surface is matte, so it is aimed at reducing reflections rather than preserving a clear, glossy screen finish. High touch sensitivity is listed as a feature, and the product is described as case-friendly. The flexible material is intended to cover the curved edges of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The listed self-healing surface may help small bubbles or scratches disappear after application, though the product information gives differing timings: one detail says within 24 hours, while the manufacturer FAQ says small bubbles usually disappear within 48 hours.

Who it’s for

This is aimed at Galaxy S25 Ultra owners who want a two-film pack with a matte finish and an installation kit. It may suit everyday handling where reducing glare and fingerprints matters, and the spare gives you another film if you need to replace the first one. It’s a good fit if a flexible protector for a curved display matters more to you than the added drop protection associated with tempered glass.

It may not suit you if your main concern is protection from drops: the manufacturer positions TPU as basic protection under light stress and describes tempered glass as the shock-resistant alternative. The product information also does not establish how much the matte finish changes the appearance of the screen, so buyers who prefer a glossy finish may favour a clear protector instead.

Everyday use

The included wipes, cloth and dust stickers are there to prepare the screen before fitting, while the positioning aid and instructions are intended to make application more manageable. A clean screen and careful placement matter with any film protector, the claimed bubble-free result is an intended outcome, not a reason to rush installation. If small bubbles remain, the listed self-healing feature may take time to work.

For a phone used throughout the day, the matte surface offers a practical alternative to a glossy film when reflections are a concern. The pack includes two protectors, but the supplied details do not specify a removal method or ongoing cleaning routine, so there is no need to assume any special care beyond the product’s stated features.

Questions before you buy

Is it made for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra? Yes. That phone is the compatible model named in the product details.

What comes in the pack? Two TPU films, a positioning aid, two wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, two anti-dust stickers and an instruction manual.

Is TPU the same as tempered glass? No. The manufacturer describes TPU as flexible and suitable for curved displays, with basic protection under light stress. Tempered glass is presented as the more shock-resistant choice for drops.

Should you buy it?

Choose this SmarTect pack if you want a matte TPU film specifically for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, value glare and fingerprint resistance, and prefer a flexible protector for curved edges. Its two-film format and included fitting accessories make it a considered option for replacing a film without sourcing the cleaning kit separately. If drop protection is the deciding factor, the product information points towards tempered glass instead.
