SmarTect Glass Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy A36 5G, 3-Pack, 9H

Choosing a screen protector often comes down to whether you want a rigid glass layer or a flexible film. This SmarTect pack takes the glass route for the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G.

For everyday contact with keys, coins and other objects, the 0.3 mm tempered glass is designed to help guard the display against scratches and impacts. Its glossy, ultra-clear finish is intended to preserve the screen’s original appearance.

You get three protectors, so the pack also gives you spares for a later replacement. The important fit detail is that, on a curved phone, the glass covers only the horizontal surface.

Key features

The glass has a stated 9H surface hardness and an oleophobic coating intended to reduce fingerprints, dirt and grease marks. SmarTect also lists anti-bubble application, high touch sensitivity and shock resistance among its features. These are useful qualities for a phone that is handled throughout the day, though a protector should be treated as an added layer rather than a guarantee against screen damage.

The pack includes three screen protectors, three wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, two anti-dust stickers and an instruction manual in English. The supplied cleaning items are particularly relevant before fitting: dust or fingerprints left on the display can affect the finished application. The stated dimensions are 15.8L x 7.4W centimetres.

How it fits

This version is listed as compatible with the Samsung Galaxy A36 5G, so it is intended for that phone rather than a general, cut-to-size fit. SmarTect says its protectors are compatible with fingerprint sensors and Face ID, although sensors may need recalibration or reconfiguration after fitting. It also says the cut is designed to suit most cases without lifting or interference.

There is one clear fit qualification: on a curved smartphone, only the horizontal surface is covered. You’ll like it if your priority is a glass layer for the main display area of the Galaxy A36 5G. Not the best choice if you specifically need protection extending over curved edges, the product information does not claim that coverage.

Practical tips

A straightforward fitting routine is to clean the screen with a wet wipe, use the microfibre cloth, then pick up remaining dust with an anti-dust sticker before applying the glass. Follow the included instructions and take time to align the protector before pressing it down. The pack is supplied with bubble-free application in mind, but careful preparation matters when fitting any screen protector.

Compared with a flexible TPU film, tempered glass is the more rigid approach and is described as scratch- and impact-resistant. A flexible film may make more sense for someone prioritising coverage on a curved display, while this glass is aimed at protecting the flat display area. The distinction is useful when choosing between surface protection and flexibility, rather than assuming one format suits every phone shape.

Is it worth it?

This pack makes sense if you want three glass protectors for the Galaxy A36 5G and value a cleaning kit in the box. The stated 9H hardness, glossy clear finish and fingerprint-resistant coating address common day-to-day concerns without adding a complicated accessory set-up. For a practical scenario, it could suit someone fitting a protector to a new phone and keeping the remaining pieces for future changes.

The main trade-off is coverage on curved phones: the stated fit is limited to the horizontal surface in that case. Within these limits, it is a considered choice for someone who prefers tempered glass to a flexible film and wants a phone-specific fit. If edge coverage is the deciding factor, a flexible format may be a better match.
