SmarTect TPU Screen Protector for Honor 400 Pro, 2 Films and 2 Camera Glasses

For keeping an Honor 400 Pro’s display and camera covered during everyday use, this SmarTect set combines flexible TPU film with separate camera glass. The film is clear and glossy, with an oleophobic coating intended to help resist fingerprints and dirt. It is a different choice from a rigid tempered-glass protector: the flexible format is designed to follow curved screen edges, while tempered glass is the more relevant approach for stronger drop protection.

Key takeaways

The pack includes two TPU screen films and two camera glasses, so it provides a spare of each. A positioning aid, wet wipes, a microfibre cloth, anti-dust stickers and an instruction manual are included to help with fitting. The film is described as full coverage, scratch-resistant and case-friendly, with high touch sensitivity. Those details make it worth considering if you want a clear layer for routine screen protection rather than a privacy or matte finish.

The flexible material is the main distinction here. It is intended to adapt to a curved display, where a more rigid protector may be less suited to the shape. The trade-off is that the manufacturer describes TPU as basic protection under light stress, it should not be treated as equivalent to tempered glass for protection against drops.

How it fits

This set is made for the Honor 400 Pro, and the stated dimensions are 15.6L x 7.2W centimetres. The product information describes the film as compatible with the phone and shaped for full screen coverage. Its clear finish is suited to someone who wants to keep the display visible rather than add a privacy effect or a matte surface.

It makes sense if your priority is a flexible protector for a curved screen and you want camera protection included in the same pack. If your main concern is impact protection from drops, tempered glass is the alternative the manufacturer points to. It’s not for you if you specifically want a privacy or matte protector, as this film is glossy and clear.

How to use it

Clean the display with the supplied wet wipe and microfibre cloth, then use the anti-dust stickers and positioning aid as directed in the manual. Take care during application, as dust trapped beneath a clear film can affect the finished appearance. The supplied kit is useful for fitting at home without needing to source cleaning materials separately.

The product description says the film is designed for a bubble-free application and that small bubbles or scratches in its self-healing surface can disappear within 24 hours. That gives minor marks a chance to settle after fitting, but the instructions should still guide the application process. The manufacturer also says the protector does not affect Face ID or fingerprint sensors, while noting that recalibration may be needed in rare cases.

Before you decide

Will it protect the camera as well as the screen? The pack lists two camera glasses alongside the two screen films, so both areas are covered by separate pieces.

Can it be used on a curved display? The flexible TPU is described as adapting to curved screen edges, which is useful when choosing a protector for this phone’s display shape.

Can the film be removed later? The manufacturer says it can be removed without adhesive residue or damage to the screen. Follow the supplied instructions when fitting or removing it.

Buying verdict

This SmarTect set is a practical fit for Honor 400 Pro owners who want clear, flexible screen coverage, camera protection and the convenience of spare pieces in one pack. Its installation accessories and stated curved-screen fit are useful points for everyday use. Choose a tempered-glass approach instead if drop protection is your deciding factor, this TPU film is presented as light-stress protection, not a substitute for that stronger impact-focused option.
