Silkland S3404 USB4 Cable, 80Gbps Data, 240W Charging, 4 ft

With bidirectional data transfer up to 80Gbps, the Silkland S3404 helps move large files between compatible devices with less waiting. Actual transfer speeds depend on the devices in use.

It also supports up to 240W charging, so one cable can serve a compatible laptop or phone while connecting your desk setup. USB-IF certification adds a clear standard behind its USB4 design.

Need a single cable for fast storage, a display and charging? The S3404 combines these uses in a 4 ft USB-C connection, with support for Thunderbolt 5, 4 and 3, USB4 and USB 3.2.

Getting the most from it

Use the cable between compatible USB-C devices such as a laptop, docking station, SSD, smartphone, tablet or USB-C monitor. Its male-to-male connectors make it suitable for direct connections, including linking an external drive for file transfers or attaching a monitor to a laptop. For display output and charging, the connected equipment must support the relevant video or power features.

The cable supports up to 120Gbps of unidirectional display bandwidth. With compatible host devices and displays, the listed configurations include dual 8K or triple 4K at 144Hz, as well as 4K at 540Hz. That makes it useful for multi-display workstations and high-refresh-rate setups where the equipment supports those modes.

Pros

The combination of high-speed data, display bandwidth and up to 240W charging makes this a versatile choice for a compact workstation. A 48-strand braided nylon exterior, triple shielding and an aluminium shell add practical design details for regular desk use. The slim, case-friendly connector shell is designed to fit around phone cases, and plug-and-play operation requires no driver.

Customer feedback often praises transfer speed and use with USB-C monitors and phones. Opinions are mixed on durability and value, and some customers report connectivity issues, so the experiences shared by buyers are not uniform.

When it makes sense

Choose the S3404 when your setup needs more than a basic charging connection: it brings fast file transfers, display connectivity and high-wattage charging together in one 4 ft cable. It suits compatible laptops, docks, external SSDs and monitors, especially for a desk where fewer separate cable types can simplify everyday connections.
